Deluxe CD/DVD edition. 2014 live release from the rockin' Country singer/songwriter. Jackson Taylor is a storyteller, plain and simple. He combines his real life experiences with old school Country elements and throws in the flavors of Punk and Southern Rock to create a style all his own. Jackson Taylor continues to break the rules of traditional Country music with his straightforward lyrics, ''take it or leave it''

approach, intense live performances, and the drive and determination of a freight train. Recorded in July of 2013, Jackson Taylor & the Sinners became the 45th artist/band to join the LIVE AT BILLY BOB'S TEXAS music series. In keeping with the originality of Jackson Taylor & the Sinners, the band recorded their LIVE AT BILLY BOB'S TEXAS CD and DVD at midnight from 81 Club, a new Billy Bob's Texas venue just steps from the club.

The CD and DVD captures the true essence of the Sinners and provides a front row seat to the rowdy and raucous live show that you can relive again and again.

I appreciate the defense of Jackson Taylor; but stabbing a guy in a parking lot does not appeal to me. When I think of 'outlaw' I think about someone who cares little for social norms, but would be the nicest guy in the world to anybody. I.E. Willie Nelson. Telling me he's crazy and stabs people is either a sales gimmick to promote the outlaw image, or a real criminal profile of this person. Music is appealing when folks identify with it, and I just don't identify with 'crazy.' Being a musician doesn't exonerate one from an obligation to be a good person. Also heard about Mr. Taylor shooting some holes in the roof at Poodie's. Whether its true or not, I'd rather my attention and money go the nicer, realistic, non-self-dilluted musicians.

I just finished listening to the new Live Locked & Loaded CD and it is chuck full of JTB-fashioned ass kicking outlaw honky tonk rock! JTB brings on his classic tunes with all of the raw energy, passion and drive indicative of a live JTB performance. It was well worth the money!

Bro you are right about JT's atitude, but that is what makes him a real Outlaw. I saw him stab a guy in Austin in the Midnight Rodeo parking lot, he is nutts no doubt. Give him a chance and listen to the guys words. The music is what matters. I will e-mail your review to him, he needs to see that there are people who like his music, but they are turned off by his F... you atitude. My first JTB show was at the old Wormy Dog in Stillwater he got mad at the crowd for asking to hear some cover tunes and plaid Ackey Breaky Heart for like 45 min strait untill they cut the PA off. He is completley nutts, but he is the type of guy who would be the first one to have your back in a brawl no matter the odds. He is strait up. He is a pure dick when he is on the whiskey though. JT is hard core. He writes what he lives, he is'nt like most the other Guys out now. Like Jason Boland says. JT is the real deal. Do me a favor and give the band anouther chance, I think you will really get it if you do. He just hates what country music has become. Once you get to talk to him you will love the guy inspite of himself. Piece. Cliff

I guess among that 50 you weren't at Stone Canyon in the Ft. Worth stockyards three weeks ago. Look, I think the music is cool, but damn...the attitude really alienated folks. My friends immedietly wanted to go hit the white elephant.

I have been to at least a 50 JTB shows and have never seen him say anything about being an "Outlaw". His music, actions and the fact that Billy Joe Shaver the "original" Outlaw, Jason Boland and every one who knows the guy calls him the only Outlaw left in Texas Music is what makes him an Outlaw. Waylon would be proud of someone like Jackson Taylor. Ask the folks who knew Waylon and who know Jackson. IE.. Poodie Locke, Billy Joe Shaver, I have. Cliff Oteri

One question: "What kind of "outlaw" tells his crowd (for a good 3 minutes or so) that he is himself an "outlaw." I'm sure Waylon Jennings often times flipped off the crowd and said, "hey, I'm an outlaw." Not very convincing...

JTB is the best music going, best songs, best front man, best guitar player. I like Ragweed and RRB, but they cant hang with the JTB. We all got our own opinions. I give them all props. JTB needs to get back to OKC! Justin

There's a reason this site has ratings from 1 to 5 stars. Not everyone is going to think every band is deserving of a 5. A 5 means top of the line, MUST SEE, excellent, etc. So, if you just wanna come on here and give everyone 5 stars and say they were great at a certain show because someone else told you they were, that's fine. Vinny was at the Wormy Dog show. Bottom line, they were okay. Vinny's seen numerous bands roll thru the WD. Some are better than others. Plain and simple. Vinny's not dogging the JTB. They served their purpose. Were they 5 star quality? Definitely not. If JTB is 5 star, then what is the Randy Rogers Band? How bout CCR?
