Shad Blair is one of the most talented upcoming artists in Texas music. I was exposed to his music about a year ago and couldnt believe how real and deep his music is. He writes and sings from the heart and it comes out in his music. You should definately check this album out.
I've known Shad for a long time. I've listened to his music since he played at Muther's in college and I have to say this CD is a huge step up! Shad's music has come full circle... Don't miss the hidden song on track 10 at about 5:30... Keep up the good work buddy!!!

I've had the honor of sitting around picking with Shad and drinking a few beers at his brothers house in Abilene. Shad has a tremendous voice and the songs he writes you can really feel, not some bullshit somebody else wrote to be a hit. His music is real and there's not a day go by when I don't listen to his music. "I'm my own kind of man" is probably my favorite but I like every single song he has wrote. He is a down to earth guy and I look forward to seeing him again. Awesome guy, awesome music, and I don't care who you are or what kind of music you like, one listen and you will be an instant fan, keep up the good work shad and I hope to run into you soon.
