SAW RYAN THIS PAST WEEKEND IN ENNIS, TX FOR THE POLKA FESTIVAL AND THOUGHT HE SOUNDED AWSOME. REALLY ENJOYED HIS SHOW. CAN NOT WAIT TO GET TO SEE ANOTHER ONE OF HIS SHOWS.
Good CD...For all of you saying that the CD is too Nashville sounding, you need to need to quit listening to that poor-produced, garage band sound. The market is alreay flooded with CCR wannabee's. Texas Music needs a band like Ryan Turner to come out with some quality produced music so we can get away from the crap that has flooded Texas. Sure some of the songs on the CD sound the same but the CD has good production, better than average writing, and Ryan has a clean voice that actually has some range other than a lot of the Texas guys out there. End of story.
Saw Ryan last night at the Horseman. He opened for No Justice...No Justice should have opened for him!!! This is the third time I've seen him and by no fault of his own it wasn't his best. I know nothing about operating a sound board, but that guy running it was terrible. There was an echo the whole show and at times you could hear Ryan singing and at other times you couldn't. When No Justice came on the lead singer asked the guy to make changes 5 times in the first 5 songs...maybe he drank too many shiners? Can't wait for the new album, really liked the two or three new ones he played.

This CD is great and I only bought it for the song "she's no amy" and I loved the rest of it!
