These guys like to drink ice cold beer and they sound really good when you are drunk. I can't wait to hear the new CD. If I were betting, (I don't bet on OSU anymore) I would bet that this CD will be a keeper.

The concert was just spectacular and the new songs are going to be legendary. I can't wait buy it. Jason Boland & The Stragglers are Oklahoma's finest.

i had no idea who these guys were 6 months ago. living in kansas leaves me miles away from concerts and shows i wish i could be at. currently i only have pearl snaps but it rarely leaves the cd player of my john deere. keep up the good work boys, we really enjoy your music up here. go wildcats!

This band has what it takes to make a splash in the country music world. It is impossible to listen to one of their CD's and not live every one of the songs that are on the albums. I am anxious for the release of the Live at Billy Bob's

I'd just like to give a heads up to anyone thinking about buying either of the CD's by Jason Boland and The Stragglers. Jason Boland is such a talented song writer. Jason has written some great songs...ie Pearl Snap, Drinking Song, Somewhere in Texas, Much Better Now....on and on. But my favorite is Proud Souls. What great lyrics.....lonliness has never been described better than Jason's line "the phone finally rang, but it wasn't for me". I had the pleasure of seeing Jason et al at Billy Bobs when they recorded Live at Billy Bobs, which is supposed to be out in October. It has some great new songs, especially My Baby Loves Me When I'm Stoned and Mexico or Crazy. I can't wait to get my copy. If you haven't heard or seen them...by all means do.

Jason as I read all these reviews that this lunatic leaves, I wonder what the hell I am doing playing music. You guys have inspired me to keep writing and playing in an industry as hard as this. So when I find this guy, you will be the first to know.
