Don't let the few negative reviews divert you from buying this CD. I believe it is his best yet. Not every song has to be about drinking beer and getting drunk in Texas. Cory has done a great job here as has Lloyd Maines. I believe this is Cory's best album to date. The music is diverse, as is the sound. This CD is on par with Pat Green's "Carry On" and Robert Earl Keen's "Gringo Honeymoon", meaning it is a bit of a departure from his previous works but shows great growth as an singer/songwriter.

I think this is a grat CD by good ole Cory. Drinkin' Alone sounds better than ever, and Friend of the Devil sounds terrific. The rest of the songs don't have the old Cory kick in them, but its still true Texas Country. Great CD for anyone to own.

Outside The Lines
I have always been a huge Cory fan and to describe this cd i can do it in one word DISSAPOINTING! I will continue to support him and his music but this album is not at all what i had expected. Cory is by far my favorite of all the songwriters and i am going to see him in concert every chance i get but this cd really upset me and let me down.
