I've only had the chance to see him live once, with Pat Green on the "Songs" tour. I picked up the Cory Morrow band CD and it's not bad. I'm interested to hear his other stuff and compare. I think he's got a ways to go before he can reach Pat Green/Robert Earl Keen status, but the talent and the music is definitely there.
I have been to many of Cory's shows, even back when cory only had 1 album out and not to many people knew of him. If you have been around real country music after cory morrow has played for you will understand that is the best sounding country on the radio today. (Garth WHATEVER)..Tim McGraw come on... yes everybody likes him, but that is not country. When you here a song that you can really relate to and love the way it comes out of the artist mouth and you know that what he is doing is his dream thats when you have heard good country. Cory Morrow is the best thing I have heard in along time. When you hear Waylon and Merle, even Chris Christopherson, you should be thinking of Cory, this guy is the real deal and don't be suprised when you see his name in all the big record stores in the near future. If you see The Cory Morrow band on a bill board near you might want to turn around and get the show time cause you won't want to miss it.
I just saw Cory perform in Fort Worth Tx and I have told everyone I know - This guy is it - I don't know who your promoter is, but I would be asking why your music isn't saturating the airwaves in the midwest. I'm from a town just south of Des Moines and I'll say what everyone wants to say...Cory Morrow will be as big or bigger than Garth Brooks with the right exposure. Awesome fun to watch you in concert. Cory Morrow is one of the finest Texas songwriter/singer in this great state. What is pitiful, is that very few recognize this. Example: Pat Green concert, place is sold out. Cory concert, place is not sold out. I dont understand how this can be. Cory writes better, sings better, and damnit, is just that much more entertaining. The next time Cory comes around to play, show your support for him and pack the place.

Cory Morrow is the absolute shit. He is the man. You don't get any better than Cory Morrow. I think he is better than all of those guys who made it in Nashville. Nashville SUCKS! Cory is the man. I wish I could listen to him all the time. The new CD isn't bad, but the double live CD is the Best. CORY MORROW RULES! CORY KICKS ASS!
