Bleu is a brillant song writer. I have yet to hear one of his "Ballads" and not go " Holy Hell, this poor mans soul is badly bruised"! While I love his full band performances, his accoustic shows are hands down one of the most moving I've seen.
I have loved Bleu since I first heard him, way before he got a band. I love this album! He has always been "Southern Rock" to me and this is the first album he has put out that seems to really capture what I love about his music. Excellent job Bleu!
I for one am a huge Bleu fan< i see him as many times a year as i can, and am here to say that the Billy Bob's cd sound quality does suck and agree that they need to learn how to run a sound board. But, to all the haters on Bleus Voice, I was actually a the show and enjoyed it thoroughly! His voice is what makes him distinct. If you dont like the CD then actually know nothing about Bleu and his unique voice so either go see him live or keep your comments to yourself!!
You need to get off his jock! Bleu is an amazing live act and you don't like the cd don't listen to it. I think its great and that's why I bought it and have all the other cds.
I agree bleu's voice usually has that scratchy sound to it, but it sounds even more so to me...like he had been playin too many shows that week and when it came around to the billy bob's show his voice wasn't all there...i also agree about the sound quality
I am a Bleu fan, but the sound quality of this Cd is horrible. Poor, poor job Billy Bob's.
His style has definitely changed but he writes pretty well! That's better than some (aka Bart Crow)!!!
His voice is a little scratchy, yes, but that is what helps distinguish Bleu from everybody else. The only problems I have with the cd is the audio is not very clear in my truck, but everywhere else is fine. DVD is good and has better sound.
its terrible, i think he ate a pound of gravel before he recorded this cd!!
