Can't wait for the "Live At Billy Bob's" album to come out...For all of you that couldn't make it, I strongly suggest this CD/DVD
One word: Amazing. Bleu is by far my favorite artist. I have his albums and have driven across this country just to see him live. Lost Boy is an awesome album and definitely recommend it...and if you get a chance to see him live, TAKE IT!
Wow, what a difference a few months make. Saturday's show was a total 180 from the one in March. Crowd was very much in to it. The band was very much in to it. Played for almost 2 hours at least. Busted out a great set opening with American Saint , a slew of Lost Boy songs, Southland, 50 Dollars, Band Plays On, a Springsteen cover, and closing with an encore of Dallas, in which Keegan Reed joined them onstage. This was the normal Wormy Dog crowd/Bleu Edmondson show Vinny had grown accustomed to. Band joined the crowd afterwards for autographs and complimentary cocktails. Great time Saturday nite.
Speaking of Keegan Reed. Go check him out. You probably know him from his Full Throttle and Adam Hood days. He's too talented to not be the frontman for a band, and he showed why Saturday nite. Bad. Ass.
yall are amazing! a small place called PAMPA tx would absolutely love to see you play.
New website is up......bleuedmondson.com
This is a Grammy quality production from Bleu. Every song is amazing. His voice has mellowed a bit and taken on some more character and in Johnny Cash fashion, his covers of other hits are better than the originals.
The new album is plain and simple badass you can't take it out of the cd player every song brings something else. When he plays american saint in concert it will send chills down your spine if there is a better album than this i sure as hell would like to see it. Keep rockin bleu!
I cannot imagine how someone would not like "Lost Boy". So much musical talent and diversity, not to mention the soul laid sincerely out on the table for all to see. Rightfully in the top five best sellers. It definitely has some mild religious overtones, presented in sort of a questioning and unsure tone, so it is indirectly preachy and sacreligious at the same time, which makes for a very moving combo in these times of justifiably rising uncertainty. Side note, if you dig this one, I guarantee you will also like Mama Sweet's "Welcome to the Well".
I love Bleu Edmondson Band! All of the albums rock but I do have to say Lost Boy is my favorite so far! I have been going to see these guys for the last five years, They always rock the house and everyone sings along and loves them. You're my boy Bleu!! ARKANSAS LOVES YOU!!!!
