I don't think Django could have come out with anything and not had to listen to people talking about him riding the coat tails. Maybe he gets some advantages. I mean Pat doesn't record any old song he hears, but it took a good songwriter to write a number one hit. I think the only real advantage Django got from his dad was growing up around amazing songwriters. Django, Greg, and the guys are willing to work for everything they get and will deserve the success they find. In the meantime go talk mess about Hank Jr, cause he rode his daddy's coat tails to success for what 15 years before he broke out on his own, and it almost killed him in the process. This site is supposed to be about the appreciation of the music, not the name on the front. They package music for brand name sales like that up in Nashville, but I think 'll stick to Texas if you don't mind. Just listen to the CD and I think you'll be inpressed. Good luck guys, I'll see you soon. L&R

I loved the CD!! I'm a BIG JJW fan and I know that some people (maybe Tyson) think Django is riding on his father's coat tails, but Django has a LOT of talent. Yes, he may not have to struggle like others, but let's not hold that against him. I could hear some JJW, some REK, and a lot of other OKOM influences in his songs, but he did write the majority of them and he did an outstanding job! Django - keep up the GREAT work! I look forward to your future endeavors.

I don't know what Tyson was thinking but he's got it all wrong. I loved the CD and can't wait to see the band in person. And JJ for your comment it would be such a great thing if you all would end up on stage when you head out to Arizona this July. Keep up the great worrk and I'll keep listening. Great 1st cd! Keep doing what you're doing. Your fans in the Ft. Worth area love your music and your live show, especially at Woody's Tavern! The guy wearing the signed caps says, "keep rockin'!"

Django has written some really great songs for his new album "Down The Road", and his band is a very exciting, high energy band. We like the album a lot. In concert his stage presence is very personable and he has a natural talent for working the audience. We have seen him several times in concert and will see him as often as we can when he is in our area.
