Django Walker
Artist Review
Saw him at Hills Cafe last night, 7/30/03. I expected country music but did not hear any. What I saw and heard was a poor college band with a rich front guy. While I believe they do try, they just don't make it. And for sure it ain't anywhere near country music.

It needs to be acknowledged that Django NEVER mentions his father at any of his shows (that I've been ay anyway). He's an excellent guitarist and has a smooth Texas sound. People always want to bash the son or daughter of a big star, and of couse Jerry Jeff is just that. I actually think it'd be great if the both of them did a small tour together. Keep on pickin' Django!

This only gets a 1 star rating because there is no 0 star rating. Good God, Does he live in Nashville or something? This is so much of a nashville sounding CD, I have to take it back and exchange it for Kevin Fowler Live At Billy Bobs ( a REAL TEXAN ).This IS NOT Texas Music People, Don't Fall for it just because he is Jerry Jeff's Kid. Bring the Texas next time Son and I will Apologize, Until Then, YOU SUCK!!!

Riding on the heels of his father. What else can I say about this no talent for singing artist. So his song was done by Pat Green. That is about as far as he can go.

Dingo, Your song that Pat Green likes to sing is such a rip off of Gary P. Nunn's 'Homesick Blues.' Originality is nice, too bad you are liking. I think you fit in nicely in small venues down at Austin but whatever strings daddy had to pull to get you up in the Cotton Bowl lineup surely could not have been worth the embarresment of you having to show the world what a horrible singer/songwrite you really are.
