I miss brett on the leads and will on the mic but i will never stop playing anything that kristen wrights. Rock on!
These guys are real musicians, traveling the state and making friends along the way. These guys (and girls) are pretty good.
check out www.texasmusictimes.com good article on this band.
A must-have for any Texas music collection.
Saw that confused was confused and wanted to clear things up so there wasn't any confusion. I've know these guys/girl for awhile and they may have a different line-up, but the main part of the band is still there. The only one who is gone from the original group (which started a long f***ing time ago) is the lead guitar player. The song/music writers are still there. I have seen them recently with the new group and yes it is very different, but some how I still like it. Just wanted to clear up any confusion.
This band was bad, then got decent, now it is really bad. That guy isn't even the singer anymore and the guitar player is different too. These guys are weak. They aren't even Buster Jiggs anymore it's not even the same people.
Buster Jiggs is one of the best bands I have ever heard. Their sound is very true to Texas music and since they are still relatively unknown, it isn't ruined by the big nashville sounds. Plus, anyone from a small town can relate to it, especially when you're from close to where they are from.
I think that everyone from Castroville, including myself, can relate to "Country Boy" because it talks about Margie's Restaurant at 4:00 in the morning. If you like to party you'll like this song and this entire album. Their songs have a pure Texas and hometown feel. Even if you're not from Medina County, the album is still very personal and true to all Texans.
