Picked up my CD at the release party at Hastings in Stillwater last night. First time to see these guys play when I wasn't ummm... under the influence. This CD is a must have for the Reddirt fans. One of my favorites already.
Damn! That's about all that I can say. This is quite possibly the best CD that I have bought all year! "Proud Souls" and "Falling With Style" are my two favorites, but you cannot go wrong with any track on the cd! Go out and buy this one. You will not be disappointed!
I was able to pick of my copy of this CD Saturday night, when Jason and The Stragglers were playing at Billy Bob's. It met all my expectations and more. I knew "Mexico or Crazy" and When I'm Stoned" were great songs, but I found myself playing "Mary" over and over. And I love this live version of "Proud Souls". This is one hell of a keeper! I will not leave home without it.

New songs "Mary" and "Mexico or Crazy" are great, and the fan favorite "When Im Stoned" is finally on cd. Its a greatest hits collection imo, plus a couple of cover songs..."Song for You", and "Big Shot Rich Man". One of the best live cd's out there.
This cd is excellent! The one thing this cd captures is the "live" show experience that Jason and the Stragglers exhibit every single night. "when I'm stoned" is on there along with 2 new songs and a Gram Parsons cover of "Song for You". Make sure to get your copy!
I hope they have "My baby loves me when I'm stoned" on there! That would be the shit!
I cant wait to get this CD. I was also at the live performance at Billy Bob's for that memorable performance. The crowd was really with Jason and The Stragglers calling them back for two encores. Jason is a very talented songwriter and singer, who puts his heart and soul into every song. The new songs on the CD are great!
I'm a radio DJ in Oklahoma City at the new KBull 104.9 and we are proud of the local Oklahoma folks like JB&S. I think these boys have true talent and I enjoy their "edgy" sound rather than the "processed" country music that is out there today. Jason has a strong and dynamic voice and the boys do a great job backing that up. Lots of requests for songs off the Pearl Snaps album, OKC loves it...
Griffin, we miss you down here in Houston buddy. All the raising hell when CCR and Boland come to town just is not the same. AS for this CD, it will kick ass!
