The cd pearl snaps is one of the best texas country cd's i have bought. it has both moving lyrics and can make you want to grab your honey and drag her out on to the dance floor. i recomend this cd to everybody.
I am a big jason boland fan and after seeing him live i was really disappointed in the show. But, he still has some damn good songs. I just wish they would have played more of his original songs and done less covers.
Jason Boland is simply one of the best songwriters to come along in a long while. From this Tex/Ok music revolution, this is one of the essential cds to own. The Stragglers' live show, especially at Woody's Tavern in Fort Worth, is true greatness! Your collection is not complete without "Pearl Snaps". The earlier reviews do not lie!
fucking charisma, this guy has that one thing that you can't practice or learn and hopefully he will be a star someday. And the Straglers! What a talented group of musicians. All of those bad habits are going to make for a great behind the music one day. Truckstop diaries is a hell of a record, cant wait for more.

Jason Boland is bad ass! Some of his best songs, or funniest anyways, aren't no cd, gotta see him live first. He rocked Poor David's!!!!! Oh, doc you wanted to know why Carney Man is not on his cd's thats b/c its by Cross Canadian Ragweed, he just sings w/ them. Keep it rockin jason!!!!!!!
