I have heard pretty much every song on this cd performed and it a definate buy for any music lover. This cd will raise the bar in what we have come to expect from this extremely talented group of musicians.

CCR rocks! I will say that while they get a 5 star rating, I was a little disappointed in the BB's album, until I remembered something. How many of you bitched when Carney came out b/c it didn't have enough energy -- NO ONE. Could that be b/c most of us didn't know any better? Obviously, we felt the CD was good enough to keep listening, and more importantly even going to see the guys, or we would still be content to hear the "polished" studio albums. I was at the BB's show, and for those of you who weren't, I can testify that had it been recorded in it's entirety, with the crowd properly mic'ed, it would have rivaled Wormy Dog for sheer energy and such. Cody's stage presence was, as usual, AWESOME! I do feel that the production of the CD was much beyond the guys control, as several of the BB's CDs by others have been toned down from the actuall concerts. I will say that I do look forward to the release of Purple, the guys newest creation, even if it will have a "polished" studio sound, b/c it means all new material for the guys to perform on stage, in all their energetic glory (Besides, the ad lib stuff on stage that isn't in the albums is part of what makes the shows so great -- always on your toes for the next jab or knock on something). You guys are awesome, rock on, and feel free to schedule more shows in College Station soon!

I've heard enough of the word "POLISHED." The album is very good. What album isn't? What song isn't? Can't wait to see ya in September. Keep it up, and let the word "Polished" die.

There wasn't as much energy as they usually have...it was kind of blah. but the new songs are AWESOME!!
