I love the Walk of Life cover. I hope the rest of the cd is as good as that song. i also hope it sounds more like his first cd, i like the country sound more that the rock sound.
I just went to his site and old shooter cut one helluva cover. I'm usually not a cover fan, but this is stong to quite stong.
I have Electric Rodeo and Put the O Back in Country!! I love both cd's, but I would have to say Put the O Back in Country is my favorite!! I am a new Shooter fan as of this year and drove 2 hours to Indianapolis, In to see his concert at Ribfest. It kicked ass!! Shooter voice does something to me, touches my soul!! Hopefully I meet him one day, that would be a dream!!!!
Even though Shooter did not headline this all day concert thing in Bandera, I think Shooter and the band were way better than the guy that did. It started raining during 4th Of July, but nobody cared. We just sang louder! It was awesome! Standing ankle-deep in mud has never been so much fun...
living proof is a cover song shooter did not long after electric rodeo came out. it was released on itunes as far as i know, this is the only place ive seen with it on the album. good song, but not as good as it aint easy which the song replaced on the album. awesome album, to me this album is the standard of outlaw country.
I saw him last week in London. Great show...lots of energy, good rock/country songs. I met him too...really nice guy
shooter has the bloodline, songs and voice to not just carry on the tradition, but take it to the next honky tonk. Sit back, crack a beer and enjoy -- it going to be a fun ride!
really , I didnt know who this guy was, heard 4th of july on RFT, what a sound, there is something here unique, needs to dump the little boy drugs drunk chicks stuff,
How is this guy an Outlaw? Not paying his Sprint cell phone bill on time? Refusing Big Daddy Waylon's American Express Gold Card? Wearing womens' jeans? ...I'm still trying to figure out how a boy who grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth is gonna bring back Outlaw Country.
I listened to Shooter's Daddy and of course his mom and I bought this cd for exactly that reason. I didn't know what to expect. I bought it when I saw it on display as I guess sort of a tribute to where he came from. I am impressed. He has it totally. I hope he doesn't change. Luck Shooter.
