If you didnt like queen of the misfits.... Just wait for Kelly comes to town.... It could be one of the bigest peices of sh!t I have ever heard..
Rich O'Toole's album is GREAT!!If you havent had the chacne to check him out full band yet, i advise that you do so. They are different then any other band, full of energy, and just all around great guys! Buy the album, the kid is going to be HUGE!!!! Get out there and keep supporting GOOD TEXAS COUNTRY MUSIC!!!
the cd is produced well (anyone can spend money to achieve this) but the content is awful. Terrible, inane lyrics and cliche riffs abound. They are terrible live, and Rich's voice is painful to listen to.
Laughable, terrible, however you want to put it this guy stinks. Not only can you not understand a word he says but he is a complete tool on stage. Thank goodness I heard the CD from a friend before I wasted my own money on buying it.

I dont see what the big deal is about him. The musicians and mixing in the studio made him what he is today. Good job to Rich spending alot of money on this album, getting Mack Damon to produce it and getting all those expensive musicians to play on it. When he plays live he doesnt have those musicians and background vocals with him. Dont get me wrong "Queen of the Misfits" is catchy but is repetitve. I dont see why this is "country" music. Sounds like christian rock to me.
Ive seen this guy live a couple of times. He and his band freakin rock out. They are going to be the next big thing. Go see for yourself

Songwriting could use some work and Rich definately doesn't have a lot of vocal range...I don't see how "Queen of the Misfits" climbed up to #4 on the Texas Music Chart. Studio musicians definately did their part on the album to make up for Rich's vocals. To sum it up...The CD is okay but it is like every Texas band out there...Everything sounds the same.
Book him while you get the chance. This kid has good stuff. Better stuff coming out. Go see him to taste the new stuff.
