This is the best so far for CCR. I think the album starts off with best song in Record Exec. Then my wife love Lawrence with Leann and Cody doing a mighty fine duet. My favorite track is in Oklahoma. I agree with COdy with wishing that I would have owned my own oil well. The two covers are great. and to top it off with Jenny and the hidden track. FIVE STARS..

It is sad that his brother in law can come out with a cd that has 9 good songs and CCR can't. The best song on this album is a remake that was better before. I am a big CCR fan but this album is no good. Maybe it was just a rush to get an album out but 14 songs and only 2 are semi-ok is not something that should be released. I was very disappointed. I hope Reckless Kelly doesn't follow this pattern.

I like the CD the more I listen but not exactly up to CCR quality. The best song is a poorly covered Chris Knight song (I Cry Lonely). I was overall disappointed.

WoW, Cherron,..you my dear are a twit and have the "ear for music" of a MF teenager. I wouldn't say this CCRs best album, but it IS hellagood. I think that you might also find that a VAST majority disagree with you S**T review of the album. I am glad however that you did not purchase it as that woukld be a waste of plastic. Lets see: 1) "record exec" -Damn good tune, another artist voicing outcry against the evil record companys whims. You know like the ones that destroyed country, R&B, and Rock. 2) "In Oklahoma" This was VERY much in the true style of CCR and is yet another good tune. 3) "Soul Agent"- This has pure countrys version of "Soulshine" written all over it. A Very good tune. 4) "Jenny"- Kinda a chick tune, but strong emotional ties within. Kickass guys! 5)"I believe You" This is truely a classic inspirational song. But yeah sure Cherron,...the whole album sucks! Whatever you duchebag! You need you music spoonfeed to ya! I only listed 5 songs off Mission California kids. This album is totally worth buying. If you love CCR, and I mean really love CCR, you will not be dsappointed. Eddie "CrazyUncleFatedealer" Olt (kicking ass since 1970)

I have to say that I am glad I got to listen to this cd before I wasted my money on it. I hate to be the bringer of bad news but this has to be one of the funniest excuses for music that I have ever seen. I am going to agree with most of the reviews that I have read..not on here, but by actual columnists...one of which says that "Ragweed's singer should seek stronger songwriting" I thought I was listening to some EMO album and damn near every song sounded the same as the one before. To be fair, CCR has given fans what they want: one-dimensional alt-country tunes with plenty of sweaty references to cigarettes, booze, and drugs, and about as much depth as Paris Hilton in a kiddie pool. Needless to say...the only "Mission" I am on with this new cd is not to listen to it! Respectfully yours..
