Reallylisten: Who ever said Cross was "Texas country?" Pretty sure their slogan is "tastes like country, smells like rock and roll." They're Red Dirt because they come from OK, but reside in TX (where they should be). No one ever titled them as pure country music, they're a little rock too...might want to watch what ya say on here ;)

Dan in Texas, "I Believe You" is a Todd Snider song, not Mike Mclure. Also, Don Williams is a country great and a legend. Kinda makes me think that you don't know your music. JS

I thought it was a Todd Snider tune not a Mike McClure one, but I may be wrong. Either way it's a good song and the album is looking pretty good.

I doubt that you would know that since you think that Don Williams is the Man. You should have said something Like Bob Wills is the man, or Hank, or Lefty....etc. Kind of makes me think that you don't even know what real music is. CCR is an amazing band and I can't wait for the new album to hit stores.

Where is the country in this? This is just a garage band. I could see it if there were some country guitar work, but this guy sounds like he's been playing about a year. All these raves about their guitar work and "red dirt". You guys need to get out more. Bands are starving to death that are 10 times what these guys wish they were. And play what they say they play. Texas country? Nope. Not even close. Nashville cookie cutter? You bet. All they need are some dancers.
