Cross Canadian Ragweed is the real deal. Period. Their music is quickly growing out the the country genre, but whatever you call it, it is incredible. If I were to bet on the "next big thing" between Cory Morrown, Jason Boland, and the like, Ragweed would be it. Their live shows are incredible, full of great energy, and their music is totally different than anything being put out nowadays. Don't miss these guys live! And buy everying they have out!
This is the coolest band ever. It's not country but it's not exactly rock. Kind of "Yall-ternitive"
Cross Canadian Ragweed is my favorite band of all time. I am a big alternative guy and love bands like Pearl Jamm, Staind, Lincoln Park, and so on and so forth. But i now put CCR in front of all those bands cause they rock!!!!! If anybody has not still heard them, go now and buy and one of their cd's or try to see them in concert. I am from Corpus Christi and they have been down here a few times now and there concerts at the surf club are like no other concert's.
I had never seen CCR (no not THAT CCR) until they played The Hideout during the Rodeo here in Houston. They were so good that I went and bought all 3 of their CDs from the CD table. I have not been dissapointed by any one CD. Their own unique sound becomes addicting after a while. My friends who like country like them. My Rock-n-Roll buddies like them as well. These guys are going places. I guess "weedheads" are like weeds. They're sprouting up everywhere!
If you get a chance to go see them live do it!

Cross Canadian is an awesome band. I've had the chance to go see them live quite a few times. There real with there fans and they know how to put back a few. Guys, we love you at Texas Tech come back and play for us again!
