Ryan Adams definetly should be on this site. He has more talent in his little finger than 99.9% of the artists on here do period. Heartbreaker has more of a country sound than most this crap. He maybe wierd, he maybe a dick, I dont care. He's among the best of our time. As far as Texas goes, he plays here at least two-three times a year and his appreciated by more than people that just live in these borders. Most of these "Texas" artists talk shit about the state and this scene the minute they get in front of a Nashville record label. Ryan will be releasing 3 albums this year. Cant wait.
gold isnt good at all... its contains no soul... even ryan admits that. why is ryan adams even on this site... lonestar music????... he plays like one show ever 5 yrs and thats either in austin or austin... he probably hates texas... his music is amazing (most of it) but he doesnt need to be on this site.

Possibly the most prolific songwriter of our time. He's got two or three albums written that haven't even been recorded yet. Gold is an incredible album, and it just gets better with time.

Heatbreaker you can tell that this isn't a country album, and it isn't a rock album, but it is touched with both. What you won't find is anything over produced however. And nothing on this album would make the top 40 countdown that's for sure...but then again that's the beauty of it. The next Dylan? Probably not. He is able to speak volumes better than anyone i have heard in a long time. His career will be interesting to follow.
