This is obviously the same guy posting negative reviews about the band. He can't spell very well.
Yeah - music is art. But that doesn't mean there aren't boundaries. Nobody was that upset that they didn't start on time. But when someone asks a band member when they are going to start and he responds "When we get f**king ready to..." That doesn't set a very good tone for the evening. When a young lady asks one of the band members to play a certain song and the band member responds "Do you have that CD? Yeah? Well go listen to it in your f**king car" That's strike two. And when the band walks off the stage after playing for 2.5 hours and you paid them for 3. That's strike three. There were other incidents - like one of the band members threatening to shoot one of the people paying them to play. Numerous people heard that one... Yeah - we had been drinking all day - and yeah we were pissed - and yeah - we made them carry their crap back to their cars. I think anyone who had paid good money for a band and received what we did would have done the same or more. We had an agreement - a contract. We held up our end - they didn't. And they acted like asses to boot.
If I could give this band 10 stars I so would, but 5 is the highest they will let you give. I was introduced to this band by a good friend of mine...at the Pond Party. They did such an awesome job their I've seen them at least 4 more times since and waiting for them to return to the Pond Party. They know how to keep a crowd alive. There songs are awesome. Its Simple they Rock. If you don't see that maybe you should clean the ear wax out of your ears and give them a real listen. They are my all time favorite band! Peace on BPM and Rock Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<3 u
Honest Hands shows the far reaching talent of this great band. Not only do these guys play fun rockin music but their harmony is really highlighted in the Honest Hands CD. A great buy.. you will wear it out.
I was there. The band played from just after nine until twelve. They played songs off of all of the albums and some cool covers. The people that hired them were mad about something. You can't please everybody, but the new CD "Time of the Broken Heart" is great.
WE drove 1.5 hours to see our favorite band play at Family Tradition in Lake McQueeney. The show was great with Back Porch Mary singing their own songs. The crowd requested alot of cover songs. The crowd had been drinking all day and not very polite to us visitors. The end of our visit was not pleasant as we helped the band load their gear with the locals blocking our path. Other than the extreme heat, the band did a great show and geared their set to what the crowd danced to.
1 STAR IS NOT LOW ENOUGH,
WERE DO I START, THESE GUYS WHO PREACH MUSIC AND BEING WITH THE PEEPS WHAT AND DRINKING WITH ALL AFTER THE SHOW, KNOW WE NOW WHY WE HAVE TO PAY FOR CRAP FIRST, YOUR ATTITUDE SUCKS ALL COVER SONGS RIPPED OFF FROM OTHERS, NEXT TIME YOU WANT BRING A GUITAR TO A GUN FIGHT THINK AGAIN. HOPE TO NEVER RUN INTO OR SUPPORT THIS BAND. THINK AGAIN BEFORE HIRING THESE FOOLS,
So alot of people are writing bad reviews on the boys from BPM. Its a shame, as Ive met and briefly spoke with each one of them, and all it takes is a few seconds to tell that each one is very dedicated to providing an awesome experience at their live shows. One show is all it takes to understand that music is their life. The dedication that they play to their shows is unbelievable. Ive only seen them three times over the last couple of years, through noone's fault but my own, and have never walked away disappointed. So for all those haters, if u want a band that is completely perfect, start looking somewhere else, I can promise you wont find one. BPM are indeed the real deal and will always be one of my most favorite bands I'll ever listen to.
I have seen these guys multiple times in the past couple years and I'm from Kansas. Like Laura, they are one of the few bands I road trip for. I don't recall a show where I have been disappointed or heard them play 90% cover songs. Small or large crowds they play their show and do it well. They are musically versitle, original and high energy. I have introduced many friends to them and they are now fans. No on forces you to listen. If you don't like their style, move on. I for one am gearing up for my next road trip.
Who doesn't love BPM!!!!!! Can't wait to see ya'll up in McKinney sometime.
