WOW! The new album is a mature "Reckless Kelly" with oustanding lyrics and music that transforms my senses to where I want to be. I knew it would be fantastic. You guys are so talented. Thank you.

New album is AWESOME!!! How "hollywood pop boy bands" out-sell true talented musicians/song-writers like Reckless is beyond me. Boys: please, please, please don't wait so long to release your next CD! This country needs more music like this!!!

I have been a huge RK fan eversince I first Cody and willy play the spud seller with Hank Thomson years ago they were just little back then but hearing cody play the on the Banjo on this new cd was just absulutely fantastic.I hope to hear more blugrass from these guys in the future

I also picked up the new CD at the International Fest in Houston. I can't say enough about it. It's back to their roots a little and a little hint toward what is to come from RK. As they continue to evolve, they just get better. As Robert Earl Keen says, I am in awe of their talent.

Picked up the new CD at the show in El Campo (Greek Bros.) - it is pure poetry and musical genius!!! Every single song is uncontaminated; passionate; enthusiastic...RK is evolving and refining each album and each song, at the same time staying true to the soul of the RECKLESS KELLY sound that we all fell in love with - they are truly a work of art, and I use the word art literally, because what they do surpasses music; its no longer JUST music - its a MOVEMENT! Let's forget about the tunes for a moment and think about how often we've said "why don't people write like that anymore" thinking about the days of Dylan and his generation's song writers - and then take out the CD cover and read the songs - READ them - they read like poetry!!!!! I sat through the CD about 5 times last night trying to decide if Willy Braun is a mastermind....or a madman! I concluded he is both - because only a true madman could write such truthful, ingenius words....he has a great, amourous soul....now add the tunes and the souls of Cody, David, Jazz, Jimmy...only brilliance could bring those words to life. Reckless Kelly is true brilliance.

I purchased the new album on Saturday at the Internation Festival in Houston. I can say without a doubt that this is the best album I've owned. I've played it through about 20 times since Saturday and the quality of music is unmatched by any other Texas band. The selfish side of me wants someone to lock these guys in a studio and make them pump out as much of this music as they can...I just can't seem to get enough. "Under the Table & Above the Sun" raises the bar for good, Texas rockibilly music once again!!!

Without a doubt their best effort yet. Everybody who reads this review, visits this website, loves good old fashioned Rock N Roll, has been to a Reckless Kelly show, or is just plain curious, should pick this record up TODAY! That is no lie...It really is one of the best albums I have heard in my life. I thought Milican and The Day were great, well this is better, by leaps and bounds, thanks to the help of legendary producer Ray Kennedy.
