I caught Ryan & the boys in State College, PA opening up for the Driveby Truckers. Their sound is so soulful and moving I left after their performance, walking around with the music just floating through my head. They are, by far, the best act I heard in 2007. These West Texans are going to hit it big.

I was not familiar with this band until I heard them live in October in Conroe. The music lingered in my head and finally I bought the CD Mescalito. It is the kind of music that makes you want to put the windows down in the pickup and crank it up and take a long drive. Solid stuff.

Great album!!!! its got a real bluesy feel to it. Really good stuff...keep doing what your doing guys!!!!

one of the best cd's i've heard from a Texas musician in a long time

This is truly one of the greatest pieces of music I have ever heard. Keep on Keepin on.

as some complain I aplaued even with only a handful of new songs this album is worth every penny the new songs are awesome and the old ones are great to i hope he makes it over towards utah so i can see him again

Heard Ryan on Radio Free Texas on Monday, got the LP on Tuesday and was in love with it by Wednesday! He's coming to the UK in January so I am well pleased!

Definitely in the top 5 best texas country cd's I own. Every song gives you chill bumps down your neck. Finally something new to jam out to over and over again.

I first heard Ryan at the Texas Gatorfest in Anahuac Texas and pre-ordered the CD the next day, he is an awesome singer/songwriter. I also just learned that a friend of mine from High School, Grant Wilborn is going to be touring with him soon so if you get a chance to catch a show I definetly recommend it!
