I was willing to give Jack the benefit of the doubt with the "Wherever you are" song, I was even willing to give him a chance when he was singing with Toby Keith on CMT. But after this new song "Love You", I am disgusted. I don't understand where this new Nashville friendly Jack Ingram came from, but he is starting to turn into Keith Urban. I was such a huge Jack fan, and now I would be emarrased to say I am a fan.
hey linda, i'm gonna have to "sorta disagree with you" here. i love when jack tells his stories. i love live shows where the artist talks a little 'tween songs. it's more personal. you learn more about that artist or why they wrote the song.
Jack Ingram gave one great show at the Texas FFA Convention. I would be willing to bet that the disgruntled Texas FFA Member that made negative comments about Jack's show ... well you deserve your $5 back and probably should have stayed home. Not very good for a bad review such as this when Jack and his band played their hearts out! Your words about Jack will be outweighed by all the people that disagree with you. So we all hope the best for you and that you find happiness in something! Jack Ingram ROCKED THE FFA CONVENTION... I was there, and I don't think you saw the same show. Have a great day and to Jack Ingram... thank you!
Jack is amazing, his shows this Summer have been outstanding as I have been to three of them. I am so happy that he is becoming more well known, and he is sharing out great music with the rest of the world. You can say "Well he didn't even write Wherever You Are" but that is just crazy because Jack has co-written or had another songwriter write many of his cult hits (i.e. Goodnight Moon). He is a great performer and he deserves the success he is getting, I hope him the best. Oh yeah... MASTERSON!!
The concert at the Texas State FFA convention was bad!!! I am glad I only had to pay $5.00 for it, and I did not get my moneys worth. Shut up and sing quit talking so much. Yes we get it you know how to count using differnt fingers, if you could see the crowd they were counting with one finger back to you.
Jack has always been gracious after his shows to sign CD's and shake hands. Good person and band members too. I saw him at poodie's where afterwards i was invited on the bus to just say thank you and then i left as i should. fans need to be gracious too. we're not the ones on the road from our family and having to hustle from place to place. thanks jack!
so matt let me get this straight. you got drunk, snuck on jacks bus uninvited, he offered you beer and signed your hat, but he's a jerk because the band didn't want to sit around and listen to a drunk strangers songs after they just got done working. gimme a break. jacks a great guy. he's working harder than anyone in the business and you badmouthing him because he didn't have time to hang out with you is ridiculous. i think i'll get wasted, come over to your house, walk in to your living room, grab a beer and start singing my songs for you. and then when you kick me out i'll tell everyone your a jerk.
I love Jack and his music, and have been a fan since his first CD; I think all of his CD's are unbelievable! I will continue to support him in his efforts to better himself and make Texas music the norm, and hopefully get rid of pop country. And Jack, Congratulations on your new son Hudson!
I think jack is one of the all time best country singers ever with his personality and his voice.... if you haven't heard him then boy are you in for a show my personal favorites by him are Goodnight Moon) and wherever you are)
