don't judge a show unless your at it.. i was there front and center it kcked ass... 4onthefloor you were there im sure... weren't you dressed as wonder woman. Jackson is by far the best red dirt talent out there.... i put him ahead of Boland, Brandon Jenkins, CCR, Stoney all of them

If anyone didn't enjoy themselves at the show in Tahlequah, they need to do the rest of us a favor; and buy a bunch of Rascal Flatt tickets and follow their tour that way the rest of us don't have to see you where the REAL COUNTRY music can be heard!!!!!!!!

hey four on the floor I was at that show and it kicked @ss! I don't know what u are talking about. I guess really the lack of talent comes from the bands u are use too. JTB's sound rocks, and his lyrics are unheard of in this day and age. I guess u were just a nother punk that just don't understand music, or to sacred of the real Deal Outlaw!

Sit back, relax and listen to the Music. Read the cd liner, very good reading inside...all true stories...good and bad. (The pictures are pretty cool as well) The songs are the "Truth" about his life....drug and alcohol addiction, tough music business...and just HIS life in general. Nothing wrong with a singer/songwriter wanting to write about his life. His songs are not born in a cubicle somewhere in Tx or Nashville by 3 guys in suits and ties. They are his life and from the heart...If a song or beat sounds like a Waylon Jennings tune, you can't blame someone for having a hero or whose music is influenced by Waylon Jennings. Furthermore, if you have been to a show lately or have the new cd, I'd say that influences include Dwight Yoakum, Mike Ness, Jim Beam and his beautiful wife and sons. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion and music taste. A review will never change my opinion about an artist....I think our kind of music is about experiencing a live show and LISTENING the words to each song...that's what seperates us from all others. Dont bash Jackson Taylor if you dont like the music...just dont buy the cd's or go to any shows. BUT, If you're up for the Pepsi challenge, I'll get you a cd or pay your door cover to a show. I promise you'll enjoy your stay and the music. I'm too old to make any silly threats online or bash anyone.... Peace and Love! -Romeo

Hey "truth". Sounds to me like you just don't get Jackson. He is by far the most talented singer/songwriter that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I don't think he ever said he wanted to be Waylon, or anyone else for that matter! Maybe if you quit hiding behind some pseudonym and introduce yourself to Jack at one of his shows you could learn what a multi-faceted individual he really is. I talked to him ONE night at the Firehouse and before the night was over it was like we've known each other a lifetime. All of his songs come straight from his heart-he has lived every one of his songs. So listen to songs like "The Mirror", "Easter Last Year",and "Saved". You don't hear music like that anywhere else. As far as him being "Texas Music", listen to "No Apologies", that song is his ode to "Texas Music". So do yourself a favor and don't just HEAR Jack's music,LISTEN to it.

Hey truth, sounds like JT did your old lady or something, do you even know the guy? I look at this site all the time and it is tools like you who destroy it, why slam peolpe you dont even know. I suggest you go and talk with him in person, say this stuff to his face. It is easy to talk about some one behind a monitor. By the way, contact Jason Horne through his web site, Jackson is not doing the documentry. You are right about one thing, we do come to his defense. Is there anyone who would come to yours? Whiskey Sessions rocks, keep it up JTB. You are the most original guy out there, and like Jason Boland says, the only real outlaw in Texas music. Waylon would be proud!!!!

I have taken a fairly lengthy hiatus from this review business, but I saw this and could not walk away from it. This guy is doing a documentary on his own life in Texas Music?? Are you kidding me?? This guy wants to be Waylon Jennings, and here it is for everyone to read...
HE NEVER WILL BE WAYLON JENNINGS!
This is exactly what Waylon would not do. This is a joke.
One other thing.....the press release on jackson's that the last reviewer quoted (which is also on Jackson's website) "Heroine addition"... what does that mean?? It means that Jackson is adding a female superhero to his band??
