Any reviewer who expresses rage and loathing for a novel is preposterous. He or she is like a person who has put on full armor and attacked a hot fudge sundae.

it seems to me, that one thing is sure. Javi has forced you all to have very stong opinions. Whether it is a 5 star or a 1 star. I dont think they ever said there music is for everyone. In fact, i'm SURE they are the first ones to say that there music is not for everybody. If that is the case, just simply stay away from it. we understand, you dont get it. I'm sure The Eli Young band would love to have you. Now that being said. Yes, it probably wasnt smart for the drummer to leave a comment on here, but I for one think it is ok to defend yourself when someone takes a personal stab at you. who ever it was that left that negative review, even went as far as to call themselves "Pancho Villa". Thats a little racist dont you think...? And even took the time to come back and leave a second negative comment (2 of only 3). And as for the "average browser" this is a "record" intended to be listened to as a whole. I'm sure thats not something your use to. As a music listener i would hope that someday you would invest a little more time when it comes to forming an opinion about any artist. Rather than basing it on samples.I think this record is fantastic. Bottom line Javi created something prolific, I can only hope that we all get the chance to do the same in any of our chosen professions.

I'm just an average browser, and I just listened to all the samples, and I gotta say, WHO IS WRITING 5 STAR REVIEWS? I'm giving what I heard, 2 STARS and I feel I'm being generous. Mediocrity always seems to rise to the top locally and this sounds like another example. And seriously, the drummer left a defensive review; SERIOUSLY?

Ok single star one. First, I agree that it was pretty stupid for a drummer to review his own CD. But really, little star(pancho villa, larry gimble, or whatever you will go by next) you don't appear to have any credibility at all. As I said, you should have tried to fake a two or three star review if you wanted. Keep writing all you want and keep changing names but I'm sure people will know it is the same person again and again and again. Why are you such a hater bro? Did this guy sleep with your mom or something? Oh wait, I did your mom...I forgot. I don't have a CD you can trash so sorry about that.

I thought this 2 cd set was pretty damn bad ass. I like the fact like he sounds like a Dylan who has smoked one trillion cigarettes:)- Good cd, i would tell anyone i know who likes this kind of music to go buy it.

Okay, is their anything more pathetic than an actual artist cruising this website to look at reviews, or worse, commenting on their own work (Chris Compton, drummer)? And, when an artist has to add favorable comments on their work, that is a sure sign of how bad the music really is. In addition, Chris comes off looking even more ridiculous with his juvenile comments about, "limp-wristed sissies". Wow, what a hard-a$$ you are. Dude, grow up and get a life This CD has been over-hyped as some sort of revelation, while in fact, it is mundane and boorish. Horrible vocals, and yes, the drummer is sub-par too.

WHAT AN ALBUM! it WILL hit you like a ton of bricks, it is a true breath of fresh air. from what recently has become a redundant scene. talented guy. Wrote all 17 songs, self produced, played some lead guitar, and even illustrated the Cover. Congrats to TX for producing another MAJOR talent. and thank you Javi for raising the bar. this is the future of this scene. Looking for the next big thing? look no further. NOTHING will be the same after this.

Well I like it and it seems as though the people that don't like it are to ashamed to put their real name. I wouldn't want limp-wristed sissies like that listening to my drumming anyways... This album is heavy, raw and full of the life of Javi Garcia without compromise. I hope you hate it.
