This album was a long time coming, and worth the wait. In some ways much better than Bandwagon, amazing stuff. Seen these guys twice at KHYI's TMR 11 & 12, wish they would do a live album, then they really light the fires.

I love this band very much. Matt Hillyer and Steve Berg also had bands called Lone star trio and Strap. I have all of their cd's also. I have all of Eleven hundred springs except the ( Live at Adairs ) cd. If someone could help me, I want to buy that cd. My email address is: [email protected]

So the band won "Best Live Act" in Dallas/Fort Worth last night, as nominated by the aristocracy of DFW music industry and voted by the fans in Dallas/Fort Worth and in the biggest newspaper in town, the Dallas Morning News & QuickDFW... Unfortunately this record has not been released or they would have won "Best Album" too. If you want to hear the "Best Country Record" of 2008, this is it. Buy one for your friends and jump on the Bandwagon of Texas' premiere country band that rocks your face off every night.

I love these guys, have seen them twice, TMR 11 & 12. Wish they would do a live album, they tear the roof off live, great on CD but extra, extra energy live. Looking forward to the new album in May

THIS IS A REVIEW FROM SOME IDIOT FROM COLLEGE STATION ... (You guys should write songs about Texas, Texas beer, and I-35 south. Then you will be a real Texas artist. Don't believe me? Just look at bands like West 84, Songs like "Texas on my mind", and " the everclear song". By the way move to College Station.Other than that, you guys have lots of potential.Loose the Buck Owens good song writting thing and do the Fratboy rock thing, You'll get alot farther) Can you beleive this clown ... "write songs about texas, texas beer ... etc What a joke. Here is the real deal man ... EHS is the real deal ... they don't need to pimp themsleves out to the "texas thang" and be like everybody else. The comment about the "Buck Owens good song writing thing"really, really pissed me off. I read another review from a "fan" who said he was not a fan of re-issue material. Oh yeah, here is something to put in your bong and smoke ... EHS SHOULD re-issue an album they did called "Welcome to Eleven Hundred Springs" ... still my favorite and probably always will be. I think it's out of print and that's too bad cause it's raw and cutting edge and once you listen to it you will wear it out. In conclusion ... dude with the attitude - review corey green or pat morrow and leave these guys alone. They could no more change who and what they are than you could recognize real talent.

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for 1100 Springs - was a big Lone Star Trio fan (only band in the 90's I'd actually do a drive to go see)... think they're in their "heyday" these days... go seem them for sure... sez Murry.

Bought CD and really enjoy the early seventies / country feel. Comes to mind when roadtripping with my family to Texas thirty-odd years ago....Interesting that I was born and raised in San Jose and never met Gina there. Met Gina in Santa Clara and she is a Vietnamese Hottie !!!!! ....great album !!

There are some acts that just reach out and grab you ... and won't let go. EHS is that kind of act. I can't quite put my finger on anything particular ... I just really dig their sound. Looking forward to the new release. Keep doing what you are doing guys.

Heard this band for the first time on Lonestar 92.5 in Dallas as Redbeard proclaimed them Dallas' best hometown country band. I bought their CD at best buy and have not been disappointed! It's great from begining to end and the singer's voice is so unique. I don't like new country music at all, but love Willie, Waylon and Cash, and these guys nail it on the head!
