A Straighter Line
Due out August 25, the new CD by Eleven Hundred Springs already has people talking. A variance from their usually hard country sound, the tracks are a compilation of acoustic ballads, some intense heartbreak songs, and new instrumentations by the extremely talented group. All songs were written by the band, arranged by the band, and produced by the band. How's that for talented? With the upcoming release of this CD, Eleven Hundred Springs will have given the Texas music world a work that is filled with musical character, integrity, and reliability. Every track is the type of solid offering that fans have come to expect from this group. The combination of songwriting, arranging, and performing have made this, by far, the most profound creation to date by this band. After Texas music fans hear this release, Eleven Hundred Springs will be taking A Straighter Line to the top.

Saw these guys at Blanco's in Houston. Loved the style, loved the music. Now I know what ol' Joe was talking about! My new favorite band.

This band has shown progressive confidence from their first CD, "Welcome to..." to the really completely professional "A Straighter Line." Excellent musicianship, tight harmonies, and really fine song writing. On their way to wider recognition.

"Welcome to Eleven Hundred Springs" ... The song "Miles" is a killer song. The musicianship on the recird is superb. I like the sound, the vibes they send out ... traditional country wrapped in a nice neat package. "A few words to remember me by" is a song that all men have written in their minds a time or two before ... and funny as hell. Great CD ... I'm going out to Sam Houston Raceway Park on March 1 to see them live.

What incredible Talent! and they are only twenty something! This album stays in my CD player most of the time, replaces the Jerry Jeff and Robert Earl CD's (but I still love them) These guys write songs like they are 50 years old and have lived through it all. You will not be diappointed on any 1100 Springs stuff. They are even better live.
