Eleven Hundred Springs
Artist Review
Hey James, I've read a whole bunch of your bad reviews, with several different artists on this site. Why are you so angry? Is it because you don't have a shred of talent or any creativity of your own. You suck man!

Bandwagon
This is the best CD EHS has ever recorded! I love the new versions of some of the old standards, but the new material is awesome - "Rock Island Line" and "Why You Been Gone So Long" with Ronnie Dawson are killer! Get this CD - you will not be disappointed!

I just got Bandwagon at an EHS show at Texas Theatre in Waxahachie. It's awesome. Great to hear some of their classic songs re-recorded to sound even better. And the new songs rock too.

1100 Springs is one of my absolute favorite bands in the world. In fact, I couldn't have thought of a better band to hire to play my wedding. From the unbelievable musicianship and tightness of the band to the really cool laid back lyrics and attitudes, ES will always be in my heart and my CD player. Thanks, guys. Your day in the sun is approaching quickly!

OH WOW..........a band that has a steel and plays true Country and Western. I haven ot enjoyed live music this much in years or since the last time I was in Arkey Blue's Silver Dollar in Bandera. Just remember it don't matter whos in Austin Bob Wills is still the king.

Broken Dreams - EP
I always thought that if Honky Tonk music was ever to survive, it would be on the backs of these outlaws. Apparently, it's starting to die because this EP doesn't resemble anything like Honky Tonk music. The first track "Depend on You," is an over produced bluegrass tune followed by "Me and You." Which brings up an interesting question: Who is Kim Pendelton, and why is 1100 Springs working with her? She doesn't sound the remotest bit country and "me and you" is one of the most boring uninspiring tunes I've ever heard. Kim, while not an entirely bad singer, does nothing for this band. Not to mention Hillyer's poor attempt at crooning theses mediocre tunes out. The combination between the two is uninteresting at best. I'm completely confused with why 1100 would make such a move. The only tunes that survive on this EP is the title track and the Prine tune. Come on guys. Next time bring back the country. Y'all are much better than this.

Roger Green/Pat Creager, I hope you were being sarcastic when you said for Eleven Hundred Springs to sing about Texas and beer, because it's bands like them that keep us from having to listen to that crap all the time. They play original country music their way and they really don't care what you or I think.

EHS is one of the best bands out there. If you're a true Texas music fan, you owe it to yourself to see them play live and get their CDs.

You guys should write songs about Texas, Texas beer, and I-35 south. Then you will be a real Texas artist. Don't believe me? Just look at bands like West 84, Songs like "Texas on my mind", and " the everclear song". By the way move to College Station.Other than that, you guys have lots of potential.Loose the Buck Owens good song writting thing and do the Fratboy rock thing, You'll get alot farther.
