I don't know about all of the sellout accusations. I can see both sides of the argument on that, but the bottom line here is that Pat just made a bad record. It happens if you record enough of 'em. Hopefully he'll bounce back with the next effort.
What is this crap. This is two truly awful records in a row. Pat Green is the sellout of all sellouts. The worst part is it isn't even good nashville coutry its just bad. This sh@t is more like Little Rock Country. Just plain bad. Don't waste your money.
maybe if he let the band he tours with play and quit letting everyone else call the shots for him we would have the old pat back but that is not going to happen so I am done with PG
Fu%#ing crap! if it let me give this cd a 0 I would have three days was pushing it. as the song on this new cd says "sleeping with the lights on" Pat I think you should cuz Im sure people want to toss this coaster ya call a cd at your windo and ask for their money back. move to nashville and stay their we dont want ya back.
I stood up for this guy for a long long time, all the way through Lucky Ones. Never had a problem with songwriting, just production style. Every song on this c.d. is hooky, yet forgetable. He even admitted to feeling like he had to make music that sounded like contemporary pop-country because he had to "swim with the fishes for a while." No lie - check out 20 questions, cmt.com.
Is this the same guy? My dog could sing and write better. What a terrible album.
So its not George's Bar. Not gonna loose any sleep over it or cry like some of you girls do on here. Pull your panties out of your crack and Carry On.
This album is #$@*. Pat just keeps getting worse and worse. He was the whole reason i got into texas country ten years ago and now he sounds straight out of nashville. Somebody by him a plane ticket back to Luckenback and slap some texas back into his music
you stupid xxxxx who don't like pat green need to shut the scratch up he is bad ass and he makin music and you aint so dont criticize him
