After following Pat for the last 8 years I can honestly say he has either forgotten where he began or gave in to the pressures of the studio. The songs could have come from anyone on "POP" country radio. The only hint of Texas is a Radney Foster song that was a poor choice, knowing all the great songs Radney has written. The duet with Sara Evans ridiculous, ripping off a Mary Chapin-Carpenter riff it doesn't get any worse. The other insult is he wrote or co-wrote many of the songs. I understand things change, disappointed, but still a fan.

Good album. Man, so what if PG has taken a different path. So the music is more radio friendly. Who cares. It is still a good listen. Those hung up on his early stuff are gonna dislike this, but if you enjoyed either of the last 2, you'll enjoy this one.

As a long time Pat Green fan I was looking forward to this album. I was hoping Pat would get back to what made him right here in Texas. After listening to the entire new album, I can say this will be the final Pat Green album I will buy. I gave it a fair chance and was thoroughly disappointed, almost angered. Most of the songs do not even sound like Pat and the rest are just bad. I was hoping things would get better after the last 2 cd's were not his best, but he went further away than ever. I sure hope he does not try to call himself "Texas Country" any longer!!! Sure would hate to insult the guys that really are!!!!!

I just heard the entire album played on the radio by 99.5 the wolf and it sounded pretty good. It's not his best but it is still a great album. As long as Pat keeps making music I am gonna keep buying them. I am also gonna have the pleasure of watching Pat live at the salsa margarita festival this coming weekend. PAT GREEN ROCKS!!!

I've heard the album on CMT and I've got to agree with other reviewers...this album is great! although it doesn't sound like early Pat music...it sounds more like the commercial pat we've got on previous cds (lucky ones for example)... it still an excellent album, with very powerful songs and a great duet with Sarah Evans. All songs are very good, there's not a single one to skip. I'll be buying one myself and recommend to all pat fans!
