Sorry thi review is a little late, just doing some catching up. The guys played a couple of weeks ago and it was a great show. My lasting impression of that evening was the fact that the band started early and played late. By the end of the concert, the band was exhausted and so was the crowd. Before the show, the bar got a sneak preview of the upcoming CD from a promo copy. Let me just tell you to hold onto your ass because this CD is gonna rock. Can't wait to get a copy myself and everyone else should feel the same way. As always, great show from the guys. Worth every penny no matter the cost.

I've seen Ragweed before but it always seems when they come to the Brickhouse they really kick ass!! Excellent show and Cody Canada is one of the friendliest performers in the circuit.

I'm not usually much of a reviewer, but the show in Fayetteville a couple of weeks ago was badass. I have watched the video from it several times and still love it. That was pretty cool of the band.

Hey, has anyone else noticed that the #2, #5, #7, #8, #15, and #21 best selling CD's on this site are all from the Red Dirt scene in Stillwater, OK? I sure wish they'd stop referring to it as "Texas music".

This album has never left my CD player. You can relax to it or put it on at a party for a great time- you guys have it all- only complaint: get your ass to Lubbock more often- you know we pack the place for you- you guys are the greatest

For me personally, I got to see CCR in concert and listen to their cds and have yet to meet the band except for Cody. Their cds are great and their live performances just showcase their talent even more. Now, I've meet Cody and he was nothing but humble and gracious for the praises I placed on him and the band. Hell, I meet him when he and Jason were doing an acoustic show to raise money for St. Judes Children's Hospital. Personalities aside, CCR puts out great music and that's why we're all here. If some people can't seem to comprehend that, I don't know what the "enlightened" fans can do to help. Looking forward to the new album and the next time I'll see you.

the one thing that i think everyone can come back to is this: does the music affect you? there have been plenty of times that ive met someone who i looked up to and found that they were less than what i thought. but their music i still love because it speaks to me. i've been fortunate to become very good friends with a lot of these people that have posted here and posted about in here. I do feel sorry that Hambone didn't have the experiences I have had and I hope that it changes for him or her because the people of CCR & Boland & The Stragglers, etc. might be some of the kindest souls I've ever had the blessing of knowing. But above ALL of the personal views their music spoke to me, continues to and I find a lot of meaning in that. That goes for Stoney, and Boland & The Stragglers and so many others. I'm about to ramble i think and this forum is for album reviews so thats what I will close with. This music that is happening and that all of us are a part of is an AMAZING thing and a very good thing and personal feelings aside I love this music. I look forward to all the new tunes coming out.

WOW! Where did all of these fans come from? I was beginning to think that I was the only one that thought that CCR Rocked! For starters, It is great to know that Cody, Jason, Grandy, and the rest of the guys really do read this stuff. It makes the small people, like me, feel like we are part of the action; that maybe we did help out along the way. As for the personality of the guys, they kick it 24-7 and still have energy to do as many shows as they possibly can. The band is simply put as AWESOME. Their music is so original and so unique. You guys have really hit the jackpot, and one day your fans will get you to the top. We hope that you will still play the small places like City Limits and Aardvark. I look forward to your shows months in advance! Your guys are to be put on the highest pedestal that the country music stand can reach. You guys desreve every good thing that comes to you. Always remeber, talent is what will get you to the top, but FANS will keep you there!!! You seem to already know that very well. I truely love you guys, and thank you for always making me feel like I was important. Y'all are awesome.

The guys are so "from the heart". They put on awesome shows that really gets you caught up in their music. Cody, Grady, Randy, and Jeremy have grabbed ahold of my wife and I with their lyrics which really touch home in our lives. Our love for the band is enormous. We never miss a gig in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. Just wish they would come down more often. They kick ass and if you haven't seen them live, you need to go. My friend got me listening to them on CD for the longest time before finally going to see them live at Poor David's Pub in Dallas. I'm so into the sound and lyrics. They just give it to ya like it is...and from their hearts. Keep kickin ass guys...their is a ton of support for ya!
