yeah, i stated earlier that it is a rocking record. it still is to me, but i think there might be some truth in that there is some over production with the polished up sounds. it doesn't sound as raw as their previous records. you still have to keep in mind that they had to follow up on rollercoaster, an album that blew everyone away, and that is very hard to do.

Don't get me wrong, anyway Texas music can get it's self out there is important.So if that means signing with a nashville label so be it. I just hate to see great bands get over produced and I think that's what happen here

I'm from St Louis and I was visiting a buddy in Houston. We went to one of your shows (Wade Bowen opened for you)at the Firehouse. It was an awesome gig...best live music ever, better than Steve Earl at Mississippi Nights, downtown in St Louis several years back. Great sound, wish you guys would get a gig closer to MO...it's hard paying child support and trying to travel to one of your shows...with gas prices and all...best of luck and I'm doing my best to market you guys here...maybe that's the answer to getting you here.

Remember when Randy Rogers was cool? This past time we saw him he seemed really agitated when we asked him to play empty glass or tommy jackson. Sure, he should play what he wants - but these are classics! Why distance yourself from them? Further, these days, seeing Randy Rogers is a huge downer. If I have to hear him whine about that girl he wrote forty-some-odd songs about -- I think I may hang myself. Time to grow up a bit, stop playing with Tonka Trucks and GI Joes, and write some real music - no more of this kiss me in the dark nonsense. If I want have naked groping - I'll go watch MTV.

You guys kick ass. I first saw you at countyline in SA. I bought a cd and now own all of them. It's guys like you, CCR, Kevin Fowler & others that make outlaw radio what it is. Guys that write and sing there own music. You guys keep it up and i will see you next time you're in SA. GOD BLESS!

The Randy Rogers Band may be with a new record label out of Nashville, but their style of music has not changed. The reason people consider going to Nashville a bad thing is because the music of the artist(s) usually looses its originality and the arist(s) sells out. However the Randy Rogers Band has not done this. Their record label is in Nashville but it's still Texas Country Music.

i love the randy rogers band they rock out loud even though i can't go to steamboat but i am going with my mom next year well in like 2008! and definetly going to lukenbach Texas

oh man i have listened to randy and his band since they were playin at little old cheatm street warehouse to 50 ppl! i love all there albums! they rock! i think they will get bigger and better! :] way to go guys i love yall!

most singers put out cds that are good, ones that people like the majority of their songs. but not with these guys. i LOVE every song on all of their cds. i can listen to their cds all the way through without skipping a song. good job guys keep up the good work. oh yeah... i live in colorado and recently a local radio station has started playing your kiss me in the dark song. please dont go nashville on all of your fans. thanks themusicisinme.
