I saw Magee last night and talked with him for a while. He's a very talented artist and a real down to earth guy. Definately worth a listen if yall haven't heard him before.
ok the time of magee payne i thought he was a girl, the name magee kinda threw me off,but i give he five stars cuz of his last name, its my last name too,i have never heard him sing, i wonder if we're related?????
Saw you with Adam Hood. I loved it!
Yikes. In all honesty, this music is just bad. Save yourself the money and get the same feeling by having a friend grind a cheese grater on the side of your face for an hour. If you listen closely to the cd I think you can actually hear the producer snickering.
I thought that I would pass this legitimate review along on this piss poor excuse for a web site. Well, this web site isn't really poor, but it says more about the listening audience than the web designers. I've never heard of MAGEE, but it doesn't surprise me that he has such a surplus of "reviews." Here's one that comes from someone who actually knows what they're talking about: MAGEE PAYNE/Never Gonna Breathe
Writer: Magee Payne; Producer: Doc Wesson/Curtis Tilton; Publisher: Magee Payne, no performance rights listed; Rooster Music (CD-Tex) (512-791-9110)

It's about time someone stepped up with a non-generic, kick-ass album off the beating path. Enough with the clickish, cookie-cutter Texas formula. Let's rock.
A definite must have "sophomore" album. These guys are giving the stale taste of the current Texas scene a kick in the ass. Keep up the good work. Rock-N-Roll!
Wow. Pretty impressive CD. Definitely worth a listen.
Thumbs up dude!!! Enjoyed it!!!
Should've been called "Habits of the Highway 6 Band"
