Fun! After all these years, still just plain fun to listen to. Good music man!

All the key elements are there except one thing - NOT a blended sound. Everyone in the band is doing their own thing to the detriment of the total sound. Dis-jointed with no heart or soulto balance it out. Songs ok but was expecting to be entertained and instead was annoyed. Probably just a bad night

Solid - Houston is a solid musician, solid singer, solid performer. Not necessarily "flashy" but authentic, genuine, solid. Pure enjoyment

Guy's songs should be required listening to many of the so called singer/songwriters of today's Texas/Red Dirt music scene. Songs are a good blend of lyrics & music - not just one or the other. Weak words or ho-hum melodies does not make for a good song. Guy is truly a talented legend.

Had heard lots of hype and some was true and some ...well underwhelmed. Think maybe has been doing this for so long , he has lost some of the freshness and is into rote performance. That said, did enjoy a few of the songs and his voice while good on some tunes not so much on the other. Worth going to see but not a long drive.

Another awesome record! Each one has a bit of a different sound, and this one is no different. Great album.

Just heard Chuck at Dosey Doe Cafe as accoustic show can all I can say is WOW! What a voice, GREAT songs and genuine talent plain and simple. Said he is more "lawyerin' than perfomin'" these days so if you get a chance to see a live accoustic show you better run to it. And better yet, stick around and talk music with him after the show. This guy gets what is happening now in the music business - Texas scene & Nashville..

For those of you who like "True" Country Music, you will love this album. And, for those of you who are like me and wonder what in the heck is happening to country music these days, this album will be very refreshing for you. These guys keep it real and stay true to Country Music's roots!! The Texas Jamm Band is loaded with seasoned and talented musicians who will have you tapping your foot, bobbing your head, and dancing in the mirror along with their music! I guarantee you wont regret buying this album. These Guys Rock!!!!

Love this band. The live tracks really show how great they sound in person, as well as on the CD.

Original and refreshing, definitely an album to listen to and enjoy in its entirety. Well crafted lyrics and instrumentals. Rio Grande Valley approved!
