Bruce Robison
Artist Review
Well I never been to Texas, but I kinda like the music! ... My main supplier of music is my friend Chris who runs Record Savings in Banbury, Oxfordshire , England. Lately quite a few of my orders were running late or not coming through ... As a small consolation he packed a copy of Unleashed Live with my Little Feat box set. No charge ... but what a treat ... Ive got Bruce's two albums so I was pleased to hear he is as good live as in the studio ... great live versions ... Angry All The Time is probably one of my favourite songs of all time ... and Kelly singing along! Haven't heard so much of Charlie so it was a treat to hear his quartet of songs for the first time as live versions ... and you Texans know all the words! The band on these cuts is 5 star ... nobody gets singled out ... all the guys play superbly! For some reason I haven't picked up a copy of Hey You, so Jack Ingram's tracks were also new. This guy keeps getting better and does he rock! Mustang Burn is a classic .. that opening riff! those great lyrics! and boy does Jack deliver it vocally! ... Just wish I had been at the concert ... if I can get this off the CD player I might get around to the 5 hours of Little Feat!

Steve Earle
Artist Review
Saw Steve two nights running at London's Shepherds Bush Empire! 15 and 16 Sept 2000 ..... both nights were excellent ... Sat show ran an extra half hour and included Bottle Rockets, Stones and Beatles covers .. plus Time (Has Come Today) from Steal This Movie! Current band does great justice to the "Rock" Steve Earle sound. Eric Roscoe Ambel was outstanding. 5 star gigs! Biased I'm afraid I was probably one of the first people in the UK to buy Guitar Town ... What a great highway its been. Chris Copeland - Born on 16 Jan 1955!

Jack Ingram
Artist Review
It is as simple as this......if you like music that will bring you to a higher level, buy every one of Jack's albums. Clearly, we all have found a great singer/performer/songwriter in Mr. Ingram. Along with Beatupford band, the music these guys continue to put out is astounding. Jack brings definately carries his own in the world of music and the opportunity to see him live should NOT be missed. Definately check out his "Live at Adair's" and "Unleashed Live" with the brothers Robison! You will not be sorry that you did, only that you waited this long to find out about these guys! t-cat

Jack Ingram
Artist Review
Jack is the Real Deal!!! I have opened several shows for jack and I am still in awe every time I see him. Jack's albums are great, with hey you being my favorite, but you can't possibly capture the energy Jack has on an album. He is totally different live. Energy packed show that keeps your attenetion from begging to end. Jack is also one of the nicest guys on the circut. Always sincerely complimentary, genuine, and humble. Jack gives you a sence of ease, instantly befriending, and coming across so genuine and sincere. I will say I "get it". I know why Jack is getting so popular, and I am proud to tell everyone that I am a HUGE fan of Jack Ingrams!

Greg Gardner & Voodoo Cowboy
Artist Review
This C.D. kicks ass! What I like most about it is, it's not just plain and simple it has a little of both country and Rock mixed in and its not to heavy. These guys are great. Can't wait to get the next C.D. Keep up the good work Greg.

Harris And Ryden
Artist Review
No album, but if you can't catch them live check out the sounds on their website. They've got good original lyrics abouth their own lives, and they sound great together. I have seen them live five times now and I am more impressed every time I hear them. They don't dance around the stage, or sing about getting drunk, they just get up there and entertain with awesome vocals. If you enjoy going to a show where you can sit back relax, and hear some real musical talent, Harris and Ryden will never dissapoint you.

Greg Gardner & Voodoo Cowboy
Artist Review
Greg Gardner and Voodoo Cowboy make sure the audience has a good time. Singing all the old favorites, and some new tunes of their own, the audience can't help being drawn in by the boys' charisma. The good time they have performing rubs off on everyone in the house. The voices are there, the instrumental talent is there... these guys have all the makings of a new country sensation. They have developed quite a following in the Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma area already. See them when they play your nearest juke joint to see why!

Jesse Dayton
Artist Review
Where to begin? Well, the best explanation is that this CD is still a fixture in my player FIVE YEARS after it came out. Raisin Cain is a simmering stew of spicy Texas roots styles, with an emphasis on bluesy honky tonk. Impeccable playing and creative songwriting make "Raisin Cain" an album you could listen to everyday for your entire life- it's just that good at capturing those elements of the "human condition" laughing, crying, winning and losing. Dayton cut his teeth with a variety of bands from the rockabilly of the Road Kings to the straight ahead country as guitarist to Pam Tillis and learned to play from an old Texas bluesman. He puts the styles into a blender and comes out with a winner on 12 counts. Standout tracks include the Johnny Gimbel fiddle driven "Gutbucket Blues" and the barroom stomp of "Angel Like You" played with a guitar fury which hasn't been seen on a real country album shy of Shaver's "Tramp on Your Street" or some of Dwight's more rockin' sides. Find it. Buy it. And enjoy the truly original talent that resides within. And hopefully Randall Jamail will find it somewhere in his heart to release that unreleased sequel to this 'un "Hey Nashvegas"

I had to wait an extra 4 days for this CD to arrive but it was well worth the wait. When I first got the CD I automatically placed it inot my computer and push play and instantly was impressed. It is much better than his rookie effort, and his rookie effort was pretty damn good. If you enjoyed his first album or love the growing Texas country music scene be sure to pick up this album of this soon to be huge star.
