I've been waiting two years for their next album, and let me tell you, it WAS well worth the wait!! It's music like this that makes me have more and more respect for this guy. This is REAL country music, the kind that feeds my soul. I love good music and I love to see other people enjoy good music, but it makes me sad when I hear the kind of country music that people are listening to coming out of nashville. I swear just when I think it has gotten as bad as it can get, it just gets worse. Well, thats not what I am writing this review about, what I want to say is that for anyone who likes true country music, this album is worth every penny!!

One of the best cd's i've heard in awhile from the Texas music scene i enjoy so much.Great songwriting, Waylon-esque guitar riffs, and top notch fiddle playing add a nice touch. I'm especially diggin' "Jesus & Ruger", "Rattlesnakes", and "Time In Hell".

its a good thing i love the lady's cause if i was gay i would give Jason Boland a rusty-t for sure.While other Texas artists are selling out to the man for Nashville fame, Jason is staying strong and putting out quality music. Keep it up doggy

I just bought the new album. I wasn't real impressed with it. I've listened to it several times and nothing jumps out and grabs me. Now maybe it will grow on me. I've listened to other albums that I said the same thing before and then they become some of my favorites. I was hoping for it to be better than his last album and it still might be. I just feel it's kind of average. Time will tell.

I received JBS new CD yesterday and listened to it straight through three times and then replayed my favorite songs. A good one word description of The Bourbon Legend is "Brilliant". This is true outlaw country. Listen to the lyrics, the man is a poet!

Just bought the new album, and this is one of the best i have ever heard. Keep up the good work and by Waco real soon.

A few weeks ago Jason Boland was livr =eon the radio promoting his new album. On the show they played a few of the song from the new cd. They all sounded awsome. I can't wait for it to come out.

I don't know how people can put comments on here without knowing anything about what they are talking about. The EHS song is totally different, and not renamed. Why don't you actually listen to the cd before saying something stupid.
