This guy is just amazing and talented all over. I have seen him several times in concert, but the best concerts i always pay attention to the most in acoustics. I saw jason in a singer/songwriter concert in houston dec 05 along with many great artists, and honestly it was the best. i dont think it could of gotten better. I got to meet Randy Rogers and Jason at Hard Rock Cafe before the show and i was seriously amazed how humble they were. And i got to jam out later that night with one of his ole buddies, man was i wasted lol. but anyways back to the point, Jason is the man and will be around for a long time. MUST HAVE CDS!! if you dont already! Keep on Keep'n on!
One of the best around (anywhere)and a good blend of country with some rock influences. Super live shows. With some personal problems now behind him I think the sky is the limit for Boland. Not many of the Texas guys have hit nationally and not many will (just the nature of the business) but Boland should. This next CD may put him over the top. Looking forward to it.
I'm not one of the Texas group (Illinois) so I had to have a friend introduce to Jason Boland and the Stragglers. Thank God there are some traditional country artists out there. These guys are great and I would recommend then highly to anyone who wants great music and throughtful lyrics. Keep up the great work
The best in country music, little alone TX music....
You guys never cease to amaze me with every show I see or any album I buy. You're better than any mainstream country artist or band. For all the idiots out there who continue to throw a fit over how they are labed as a band.. who cares. It's a little bit of the best of everyhitng rolled into one great band. It doesn't matter if they are labeld country, rock or Texas Country. The inportant thing is that they are true to their music and true to their fans.
JASON BOLANDS MUSIC IS SCREAMING WITH ATTITUDE AND REBELLION. HE IS A MODERN DAY MUSIC OUTLAW. I THINK HIS OLDER STUFF IS BETTER, BUT SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE IS A GREAT ALBUM IN A DIFFERENT WAY. ONE OF TEXAS' AND OAKLAHOMA'S BEST!
I was blown away by JBS last night in Kansas City! The crowd was really into it & JBS did not disappoint!
Oh thank God Jason and the Stragglers are back! And thank God I got to enjoy their music all weekend long. I can't think of a better way to start my year!
Boland at Tumbleweeds was beyond words!! I for one am very glad to see Boland out of rehab and back on stage.
