to the guy who listened to Jb&TS and didn't "get it", try out the Live at Billy Bob's album. Personally, I had several Boland songs downloaded for years that I liked, but I didn't really "get it" until I got that Billy Bob's cd and began to wear it out. As for the last 2 cds, there are several great songs on both of them, and the rest are pretty good. They can do better though I think..I'm looking forward to hearing Comal County Blue. Love the album title. And to the guy who suggested that Boland start getting hammered at shows again, i'd have call you a jackass and disagree. The last show i saw Boland do when he was drinking was completely f-ing horrible. I had to leave after about 4 songs because he sounded like such total crap. Since then I have seen him and it was great.

DS, I respect your opinion, but don't give JB&TS a 1 star review as an artist. If you love some of his albums, like 1, and dislike 1, then give that ALBUM a 1 star rating, not the band as a whole. I liked the material on Bourbon Legend, but HATED the production quality. (Producer=Pete Anderson) Pete Anderson couldn't produce his way out of a paper bag. I just read that Lloyd Maines is producing their new album, Comal County Blue. I can't wait! Lloyd + JB&TS......KICK ASS!

I hear ya...I was at the Reckless Kelly show and was also double charged. They take your card and run it and then give it back to you right away. So if the genious bartender can't decide who to charge they just put it on any tab they want. Pay in cash!

All Oklahoma peeps, watch your tab at the Wormy Dog!! I was there for RK in December. They decided to charge me twice!! So, after paying $50 bucks in gas, $100 for a hotel, $50 for taxi, $40 for tickets, they decide to charge my tab twice!! I called the next day and talked to a rude little girl that said the manger was “too busy” and he would have to call me back. Finally the next day after no return call, I called back again. I talked to the manager and he said he would take care of it and call me back THAT afternoon. Of course, no return call. So, I call back the next day and find out that the are gone to Steamboat!! Hey WD, great customer service!!! So, I finally disputed the charges with my bank and file a complaint to the BBB in OKC. This in no way, reflects any of the bands that play out there or CCR. They just need better management there!!

Hey Beano, you'd probably like Jason Boland more if you weren't so much in to dudes.

I don't get it. I've TRIED to like Jason Boland, because everybody says I'm supposed to. He just leaves me with a blank stare on my face, wondering what it is I'm supposed to like about his music. What is that thing he does with his voice? It irritates me to no end, makes me itch all over. I'm giving up and trading my Jason Boland CD's for a package of blank CD's...they'll be a better listen.

I hope everyone out there is listening,because with every effort Boland's music is getting stronger and his songwriting continues too grow.Not bad considering he probably has the best live country album ever! My apologies to Earle,Randy,DAC,Stoney,REK,Pat,RK and many other great acts

Pearl Snaps,Truckstop Diaries,and Live At Billy Bobs cant be beat. Somewhere In The Middle was exactly that. The Bourtbon Legend has been very useful-I use it to sheild my good cd's from the sun, makes an awesome coaster for my computer desk, and even used it this morning to scrape my car windows.
