Northgate Noise Vol. 2
This second compilation just adds to the collection of hits! The music captures the essence of College Station's Legendary Strip of Bars - Northgate. This is an Aggies dream party mix.

Open Doors Project benefiting Parkinsons Disease
I just got back from the release party for this disc, and after a few DosXX, I'm admittedly biased... but if you dig good Texas music then you ought to check out this disc. There's a little bit of something Texas in every cut, and every one of them makes you glad you're a Texan. (Or at least that you found your senses and found your way here.) Everything's big in Texas, and that includes the hearts of each of the artists featured. They donated their tracks royalty free so every possible penny earned could go to Parkinson's Disease research.

Do you want to hear an energetic compilation of music from some of Texas' most talented, not-yet-famous musicians? Well here you go! This is a lot of fun to listen to; and you don't have to MAKE yourself play it again. Some of my favorites are: 'Follow Your Heart' by Tommy Alverson A sing-along, right now. 'Eagles' by Terri Hendrix What A CLEAR and beautiful voice! 'Ivan's Hideaway' by Charlie Daniels sound-alike, Terry Rasor. Makes you feel like you are in a smoky, sawdust-floored saloon. 'Just Another Dream Come True' a sweet song by Jerry Max Lane, who I first thought was Robert Earl Keen. The title track 'Open Doors' by the whole gang is a song with a message for each one of us--- AND it's GOOD MUSIC!! Don't pass this up, you will be able to say, "I knew of them when..."

Open Doors Project benefiting Parkinsons Disease
Wow.... After years of listening to my "kid's music", this CD reminds me of the good ol' Texas country music I started listening to back in the 70's.

If you're into Texas music this is a compilation CD you don't want to pass up. A great tune from each of fourteen artists... we're not talking "B-sides" here... these folks each contributed a strong example of their respective talent, and several of them joined in to record the title track. If you're a newcomer to some of these artists, then this is a great CD sampler to give you a taste. The income from this compilation goes to Parkinson's Disease research. All of these artists have donated a cut royalty free so that all the CD sales income will go straight to research.

Artist Review
Maybe it's just me, but Eleven Hundred Springs has the best track on this cd. I'll admit there are a couple others, but mainly alot of filler.
