Mark David Manders songwriting has really matured on this record. Highs and Lows is a lot less rowdy and a lot more thoughtful. MDM is a force to reckoned with in the Texas music industry. Do yourself a favor check out highs and lows you will be impressed. James Blair.
The strength of this CD starts with the songwritting and is carried down to the finest details. Truly awsome.
Mark and the band just keep getting better. If you like catchy tunes with lyrics that really say something, really touch you deep in your soul, then you'll love MDM. Highs and Lows follows Mark's tradition of great songwriting mixed with somewhat of a new tune. Try and catch him in concert too, he is geniunely a great guy who puts on a great show and cares about his audience.

Another outstanding CD by Mark! One of the best I have bought this year. Great songs, great voice, this man is right up there with Brian Burns, James McMurtry, and Jimmy LaFave in my book!
Songwriting skills are lacking in this new cd. I have to say that the production work on the cd is where it really went bad. Even Lloyd Maines can't make Mark sound decent.
Waited a long time for this new cd to hit the shelves. Unfortunately it shoulda stayed in the studio just a bit longer. What it lacks in songwriting, it didn't make up in the production. That makes two cd's produced by Lloyd Maines to really disappoint in the last month.

Manders is awesome and I am glad he is finally getting the recognition he deserves and being played on the radio. Mark is a great performer and apperciates his fans! Even if they dont keep playin him on the radio, I will still support him and the band.
