Anchored in Odessa by Haggard, Cash, Wills, Waggoner, Jones and Jennings, grew up in CenTex on with Ely, Crow, the Commander, and the World Headquarters, live off the cuff Texicana was my bag Baby. First saw Manders and band at a frozen late night frat fest in Houston. From the first note of Black Jack Road through the final humm of Headin Out West, the power was there. Over the next ten months I saw their shows at Willie's Picnic, Anhalt, Blancos, Montgomery Old West Fest, Rockin R in Denton, Dos Amigos in Odessa and the Firehouse in Houston. The shows always bring on the party spirit Texas style just the way we like it here in Nuevo Tejas. Thanks guys. See you often.

Mark and Neuvo Tejas are not only one of the best bands around, they are also some of the nicest guys I've ever met. I think it is well worth your time and money to go and see Mark and the guys show you what music is all about. You must own all three albums.

These guys are true performers. Seen em at Humbletime, Blain's Pub, and Willie's picnic and they kicked each time. The "mystery" song on Chili Pepper Sunset is big and bad :-)

Mark david's band rose to the occasion at Larry Joe Taylor's Chilifest in Meridian,TX earlier this year. His stage appearence got the party started for a throw down Nuevo Tejas style!
