I bought this CD about 3 months ago and didn't really like it as much as his others on the first listen.
I just gave it another chance, and I can't get it out of the CD player!
This guy is a song writing genius.
EVERY song on this album will speak to you if you let it.
I just spent 4 hours driving back from the lake and never took it out of the player, in fact I rewound several of the songs MANY times.
I just can't say enough good things about this man, I just hope that he is embrassed by others without being wrapped up in the Nashville scene.
Just saw Max and two members from the Red Dirt Rangers at the Wormy Dog in Oklahoma City on 8/3 and it was a "Kick A** " show. Don't miss a chance to see Max when he comes to your meck of the woods!
We drove 400 miles to see this one and it was worth it!
Wow! What a great show at Dan's Silverleaf in Denton on Friday night. This show was recorded for his new live cd and it was fantastic. Can't wait.
Where did Max Stalling come from? My guess is that one day I won't be able to afford to see him sing...outstanding!
I like it! Heyyyy Runnin' Buddy!
great cd, i just wish he'd put out another soon
Just saw Max last night at Blanco's, by far the best show I have seen in a long time. He really played to the crowd and made it a good time. He was also a great guy off the stage. Overall, I have to say that he needs to play closer to the Houston area more so I can go see him as much as possible.
I've been listening to Max for several years. I believe he is the best "Texas Country" artist. There's nothing like watching him live.
Max and his music is great. I listen to all three of his albums with equal enthausium and eagerly wait for his next work. Sure hope he makes it in the industry.
I've been listening to Max for several years now, and I truly believe that no one else can deliver a song as good as he can. His songwriting is so deep and honest it really makes you reflect on things. To add to it Max is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. I'd recommend Max to any Texas music fan.
