I don't care if he IS from Kentucky, this is Texas Music at it's very best.
Chris Knight is an awesome. From his lyrics to his haunting voice he's got what it takes. He deserves so much more recognition than he is being given. He is a "real country" artist.
My husband and I saw Chris at Poor David's Pub in Dallas last night. Today I can't stop singing his songs. I feel his music. It is so real. My friends are asking to borrow his CD's. Listening to him and his band for 3 hours was the most fulfilling night I have ever had at a concert. Way to go Chris! Keep it up! As a Texas girl I rank Chris at the top after last night's concert.
Chris Knight is a fresh and apealing story teller with a different sound that sticks with you. I have been a fan ever since he was intoduced on the Johnboy & Billy show a couple of years back. I hope Chris gets the break he needs to make it on top. He deserves it a lot.
THIS GUY HAS GOT IT ALL. HE'S GOT THE SPINE CHILLING LYRICS AND THE PERFECT MUSIC TO GO ALONG WITH IT. BEEN A CHRIS KNIGHT FAN SINCE THE FIRST TIME I HEARD IT AINT EASY BEING ME. HE'S GOT THE TALENT OF STEVE EARLE AND THE CHARISMA OF ROBERT EARL KEEN. JUST LIKE PAT GREEN SAID IN A CONCERT HE'S THE REAL DEAL AND THATS ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID.
I saw Chris last week at the Cactus Cafe in Austin. His music is wonderful in person just as on his CD's. His latest C.D. is as good as his first!!! Keep up the good work Chris.
Bar-none the master songwriter today. I have followed him for years now and everything that he has ever done has been awe inspiring. This album is no different it has all the chris trademarks. THE BEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR
This is one of the top 5 cds of the year 2003. If you haven't listened to this cd or any of his other stuff you are missing out. He does not write a bad song.
