Man, I've been waiting for this one!!!!! His first CD is one of my favorites, it will be hard to beat.

The self titled Chris Knight is one of the best damn Texas Music Cd's that I've bought in a long time. His story telling lyrics could be compared to the likes of Robert Earl Keen, and Steve Earle. This CD is a must for any true Texas Music fan.

I first stumbled upon Chris Knight a few years back one summer in Milwaukee. He was playing Summer Fest and I was in town on business. I paid to get in, got a beer and then it hit me! "Where is that voice coming from?" It was Chris Knight and his band just tearing the place apart, but also grabbing you attention and heart. I was lucky enough to get to talk to Chris for a few seconds and shake his hand. Boy am I glad I did. I immediately went out and bought his first CD that next morning and I have not taken it out of my car yet. This is one of the most true, heartfelt and honest artists I have ever heard in my life. Each song tells a story that draws you in, so much so that you almost feel like you are going through it yourself. You feel his heartache, his joy, his voice sinks into your pores and into your soul. The songs are real and Chris is one of the most talented song writers to come along in a while. You will be so happy your purchased this CD. Take it with you wherever you go. One of the best times and places to listen to this CD is one the road while your driving down the highway. It's almost as if Chris has put together a group of songs just for you while you drive down that long country highway. And what a journey it is! Chris-I wish you and your band the best and great success! Thank go your new CD is out and I found you are still out there! I just bought it from Lone Star Music and cannot wait to hear you again!

This guy is just incredible. He writes like he's lived it...and sings like he barely made it out alive. Check out both his albums...if you like Steve Earle...you owe it to yourself to give Chris Knight a shot. He rocks!

The truth is the truth. I bought the first cd and will buy the second and any others that may follow. The songs all tell a story and are full of meaning to who ever may listen to them. Each listener will come away from these albums with a greater sense of reality. The best from the best.

BOTH OF CHRIS'S CD'S MAKE YOU REALIZE THAT THERE ARE STILL SOME GREAT ARTISTS, THAT ARE IN TOUCH WITH REALITY. ANYONE WHO LISTENS TO CHRIS CAN RELEATE WITH HIS SONGS. YOU WILL NEVER SEE HIM ON CMT. WHICH IS A GREAT THING NASHVILLE MUSIC SUCKS.
