Aaron- You are a gay ass mother. Roger rocks the stage! I guess you should leave Texas and go see your Nashville buddies and their $100 tickets.

Aaron.... Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Here is mine: You dislike roger because...... 1.) Poor Sloppy singing. Have you even heard him sing? The guy is an awesome singer. He has a great singing voice and is always on key. 2.) Non-catchy tunes. Why would someone strive to write a catchy song? to make money? Kind of like Toby Keith? Roger writes what he feels and what he lives. Like it or not, It is from the heart... unlike your friend Toby's music. 3.) Mediocre musicianship. I don't guess you did any research on this matter or you would have realized that the players on those discs are the same players that play on albums ranging from Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Jerry Jeff Walker, Joe Ely, Dixie Chicks, and Robert Earl Keen to name a few. Lack of musicianship is definately not a factor on this CD. So thank you aaron for your totally misinformed, pea brained opinion on this great artist.

I Got The Guns
If I could give this "CD" zero stars I would. Where the hell did this guy come from anyway? I can understand how Pat Green and Cory Morrow found they're beginnings, but I suppose this piece of crap just fell from the sky. Specifically, poor sloppy singing, the tunes are about as catchy as the plague, and the musicianship is mediocre at best. If these are the guys that say Nashville sucks, they've got it backwards folks. We've got a little Toby Keith round here and his name is Roger. He's here to pipe his little Texas flute and get all our Texas money. Have some taste and don't do it folks.

I'm fairly new to Texas and must confess, never saw a real "Texas" act live until I saw Roger at The Laboratory in San Antonio on Easter weekend this year. It was thee best down home show I've ever seen. Since I had never heard his music before, I nearly died laughing when I heard The Everclear Song. (At that time, he was sporting a mustache and goatee and looked GREAT!) Then, my cousin came up from Houston and we saw him again at the River Road Icehouse in May. What a great show again. I just wish I could be at all the shows, especially the one in Mexico in August. Keep up the great work Roger. You are the BEST!

Roger is a talented song writer and his enthusiam is positively contagious. The live performance energy doesn't translate 100% to the CD, but you can still feel it. I love Storybook and I've Got the Guns - actually it is hard to pick a favorite. I've gotten my friends hooked too. We go to as many concerts as possible!!!

Roger, just wanna say thanks for the awesome show in Corpus and thanks for taking a picture with my friends and I. You're the greatest and my favorite all time Texas country singer and performer.
