It's been 5 years since an album of new material,not 3.
So just got word that Stoneys new album was on itunes, went to check it out and there is ONLY 8 TRACKS! You heard it right folks! 8 tracks! Perhaps the most anticipated album this year and we get a disappointent like this??! We waited 3 years for new material and half the damn songs are covers! Did I mention theres only 8 songs on this damn thing!! To Michael Devers: if you are reading this can you find out if this is some kind of joke?!
Stoney Larue is by far the best performer I have ever seen, and he is on the road 300 days a year. Cut him some slack people, its tough to produce a quality album when you are touring that much.

I know its takin a while for him to come out with a new album. But many great artist are perfectionist. Sometimes your just not happy with everything that u write. Im sure whenever his new album comes out it will be incredible. Keep on doin your thing Stoney
I was sure glad to find some new music to listen to and Stoney kind of opened the door to the Texas/ Red Dirt music scene and the artists just keep coming. Thanks for givin' this old man some new tunes.

many other good artist dont take this long to write and record new material thats good... im kinda disapointed because i thought that stoney shouldn't have to take this long to put out a good cd... come on!!!
I agree that he should not put out a cd just to do it. He is talented and his decision is what is best. You can water down your music and lose focus on putting out true red dirt/Texas music. Thanks for keeping it real, Stoney!
Yeah, but out of those 5 songs, only 2 are new and written or co-written by him. The other three songs (Blind Man, Hope We Make It, Times Have Changed) are all old songs that have been out in the scene for years upon years. I have those songs by the people that actually wrote them. Let him come up with some more new stuff of his own and drop those three.
