so it has been pushed back to april now, this is ridiculous

Smith Music has been delaying a ton of CD releases lately (Stoney's first BB's, Brandon Jenkins, many others). Supposedly it's production issues. I haven't heard a date for this one yet, but I'm hoping for soon. Good thing the other one will get us by until then.

I have no clue of what's going on with this cd. I have been on the Galleywinter Forums and Stoney's website forum, but nobody seems to know why it has been delayed or when the new release date is. The anticipation is killing me! I must have it!

So what's the deal with this CD? Why wasn't it released on the 6th when it was supposed to be?

And he wrote/co-wrote 8 of the 11 songs on the Red Dirt Album!

Cover band? Riding the coat tails of other peoples songs? Theres another guy that came from Texas (you may or may not have heard of him.) ... he did the exact same thing. He had a great voice, loves to play the guitar, but doesn't like to write. i forget the name of him... hmm... oh yeah! George strait.

If you have negative comments about this artist then you must not have been around him. I've been around a lot of different guys in the business and Stoney is by far one of the coolest guys you'll meet. He is one of the guys that will hang around long after a show to make sure everyone gets a chance to visit with him and have a beer.

Now, I've heard a lot about this artist from my friends at the 700 Club. I have read all the reviews and, found what I could on the internet, bought his latest release and I have come to a conclusion: The Lord is not with Stoney Larue.

where can i get a copy of Downtown (first CD)?

This kids got a lot of talent and a great voice. Yes, this is a great cover band allright. Nobody has risen this fast on the coat tails of so many others songs. But like a snake this boy is pretty slimy and will bite you if you turn your back.
