I love the new CD! Congrats to you, Stoney! I am a little worried that those of us who come see you play everytime your in town will have to share our secret with the whole world soon! I will miss the days of watching your intimate, accoustic shows at Woody's when your are packing arenas and stadiums!
Stoney has an average voice and carbon copy Cross Canadian wanna be songs. Congratulations on making 1 whole album! Wow, it must really be tough to write 12 or so songs. The last thing we need is another soft rocker. It is what it is. . . but it ain't country.
Just got my STONEY LARUE RED DIRT ALBUM". It is absolutely FANTASTIC. Mike McClure did a great job of producing this CD (who needs Lloyd Maines!) I could "rave on" for hours about Stoney and the fine musicials that he has on this CD. BUY IT, AND GO SEE STONEY SOME WHERE!!

I can only say, the future is definately bright for Stoney & his new band! His awesome style & sound is the best of the Red Dirt music! His new cd is going to the top & it only makes me sad because we will have to share his music with the rest of the world! God Bless You, Stoney! We love ya!

Stoney is a bad ass and a nice guy. I had the pleasure meeting him on the cruising with ragweed. not only did he play his older stuff but he played most of his new stuff so if you like his old shit than your going to be stoked about his new cd.
