You might need a J.O.B. if you dont start writing better songs. You would make a good beer, bait and ammo salesman.

if i could use less stars than this i would... kevin fowler is the epitome of a reject. he is an embarrassment to the texas music community. his songs and antics are far from classy musicianship and border on white trash. i am mortified at the idea that someone would see him in concert and think this represents texas music.

Saw him out at the Ponderosa a while back... best show I've seen in years. There seems to be some real jackasses trying to cry about how he's a sell-out. It seems that the bigger somone gets, the more the whiners come out of the cracks. I bet that they are band rejects that think that their opinions actually matter... kinda pathetic, almost embarrasing. I guess everone has their opinion, but the bad ones sure do sound ignorant. How can you write a one liner making fun of somone as a review! Ha, they must be really hurting his feelings. What a joke. If you are gonna dis somone, try to sound more intelligent than a first grader with downe syndrome. No disrespect intended toward the first graders. It is a close as I could come to reviewing some of his reviewers. Kevin plays everywhere for everyone... and puts on real good show. Not to mention that his band members are really awesome. Five stars because he has raised the bar for TX country. I've seen a lot of bands play live and this one is the best to come around in awhile. I'd make a road trip to see his show again.

One For The Road
Love this album. A true country original. The band is top notch, with some truly inspired guitar playing. Great songs from a great Texas singer.

Beer, Bait, & Ammo
This is a good CD! Kevin puts it out hillbilly style. How can you go wrong with beer, bait and ammo!

If you like Texas Music, you'll love Kevin Fowler. He is so awesome. I love all of his songs. His songwriting is so great. This guy is definatly one of the best on the Texas scene. I saw him at Texas A&M and he was great live. He sounded just like he does on his records. He's a great guy to, he talked to me and singed my stuff. Kevin is 5 stars and then some.

As I sat this evening and listened to all four albums in one sitting, I was impressed by the hurt and pain in many of the songs Kevin sings. I guess that many of these songs, (ie, Love is a Prison, These Old Walls, A Penny For your Thought, and the list goes on and on) have really touched my life in a way that Kevin may never truly understand. Kevin appeats on stage to be a "red-neck", but those on us who know him off the stage know that he has a quiet side. I for one, hope to be able to continue to listen to Kevin sing ballads and waltzes for many years to come. We love what you do...keep up the hard waork and remember there are "little" people who love you and care about your future. We'll still be here when you need us!!!

Kevin Fowler is an icon in the making. A few sad souls seem to think he's a poser, yada yada blah blah. If you don't like him, let me have your seat at his show so someone who enjoys great Texas country music can have a beer and some Cope and have a good ol' time. Keep on Redneckin' Kev! People who say ugly stuff about you a jealous. Me, I'm jealous I don't have the great shirts like you wear on stage.
